Type 3 were used by Imperil Japanese Navy on auxiliary vessels such as gunboats, small (2500 - 3500 GRT) merchant ships converted to auxiliary gunboats. They were used as patrol vessels and escorts for convoys early in the war.

I can see the low cycle rate & big cooling fins working well in high heat/humidity environments.
This was a last diffender of Japanese infantry. Has a high acutate shot ratio on all of Japan's Frontline. Thank you.
