it def seems like its flying just a bit heavy ... awesome stuff tho! im gonna build one soon but im deebating if i should go up to mobula 8 to carry extra weight... what u think?
Yeh. It is quite heavy, but I don't care LoL. The thing is so much fun. I've beaten the sh*t out of it so many times and the only damage it's sustained is 1 whoop guard broke. Fixed it with e6000+heatshrink and still going strong. I chose Mobula7 for the 75mm wheelbase so I can fly indoors, but I'm sure the Mob8 85mm will handle the weight better. But at that point, in my opinion, if I were to use it outdoors only, may as well go full quad without whoop guards. Which I'm working on as my next build 😁
I try to land and have the voltage rest at 3.5v or above. Depending on the life of the battery, I'll push it less when they're older and keep an eye on the voltage sag. Fresh bought packs I get around 3:10 with 3.55v resting and 3.4v sag. Old packs (in this video), I get around 2:30 to 2:45 and 3.6v resting, but the sag drops down to 3.2v occasionally and I stop flying because it will suddenly tank, Vista browns out, and I have to go retrieve (during which time the battery is still draining and I worry it will damage the life further). I'm flying dual packs Tattu 300mah 1s in series (essentially custom Tattu 300mah 2S). Hope that helps!
@@mokshpatel6986 I've had crashes before that caused Betaflight settings to "reset" on a 1S crazybee flight controller. Unsure how that could happen, but I swear it happened, twice. In those instances the battery dropped below 3.2v. The other thing you can check is damage to the TX and RX connections between O3 and Flight Controller. Use a multimeter to check continuity of the wires, or just resolder fresh ones. Good luck!!
@@nxp200 I try everything but nothing happened even I try another build that running O3 and unplug that O3 and plugin into this O3 but still same problem 😥
@@mokshpatel6986 I would guess the RX and/or TX pads are damaged on the O3. There might have been a surge or short that caused the diodes to burn inside the O3 on those two lines. Unfortunately not a simple fix. 😔 Sorry
Nice work who needs remote id when you’re at home ha😂
