I almost never make my own decks, because when I did I would always lose. Playing meta decks or classic decks is my jam, because I know thousands of other players have already played it and that it works. But trash or treasure is still one of my favorite videos to watch.
No doubt - playing safe decks like the one I just uploaded (the best deck for the meta that's been strong for years): ua-cam.com/video/chfIydYuLjw/v-deo.html is the way to win cause the deck has answers for everything! BUT the element of surprise and the fun factor of playing something unique is what causes people to spice stuff up! I personally love trying these new decks cause I learned about the strength of fisherman royal recruits & was reminded how overpowered dart goblin can be. Was pretty satisfying stomping the lava clone player in the first game too
I am pretty much exactly the opposite haha, I find joy in just trying a bunch of different things and finding which weird combinations work and am essentially always playing decks I make up. Exploration and trial and error is the fun for me. But having people to fill both roles is what keeps the game going :)

And my most successful trophy push has come with a deck I made myself and still use on ladder...I am trying some deck's from other people but I usually don't get the same value outta the decks that they make look so easy lol
The big problem here that you probably playing a top meta deck while you are not even close a top player no offense aswell the meta is always different every couples of 100 trophys. If you play a simple fireball beatdown bait deck you will make it much further
I use a logbait deck, this days i had some problems with it, the i changed some cards and it turned out to be amazing, the deck is: Goblin barrel, Knight, Infdragon, Rocket, Canon, dart goblin, log and skarmy

I love the idea of sparky. Highest damaging card that splashes. Problem is it’s exclusive to goblin giant and giant mostly. This hog/sparky deck has been pretty fun cus it’s a little faster paced. this deck was made by my friend and i've been using it for about 7 months now, and i pushed up ladder from spooky town to almost challenger 3 with it. the deck is bats, miner, wall breakers, mini pekka, witch, skeleton army, princess, log. it's not the best deck ever but i didn't unlock mega knight for a while so this was the best i could do.

I’ve been playing the same deck forever and can’t use any other deck now, but I also don’t know how to optimize it and I know it needs optimization bad because I haven’t updated it in forever. The deck is Hog Rider, Bandit, Elite Barbarians, Barbarians, Ice Wizard, Wizard, Bomber, and Zap. The highest i’ve gotten with this deck is 6300ish.

I made a deck years ago and I still play in ladder sometimes for fun, it’s heavy, but great fun in double elixir. Here’s the deck: -Megaknight -E-wiz -Wizard -Princess -Snowball -Bats -Guards -Barbarians It’s a pricey deck and not a great synergy but I still find it one of the most fun decks to play time and time again, especially on defence.
Yo tag, i got a deck for you. Its a old deck that i used to get from 4600 trophies to 5000 trophies in ONE SITTING. So it goes like this: Lumberjack Baloon Freeze Snowball Guards Minion horde Mini pekka Wizard Also some tips for the deck: 1. Dont use too much brain power. Just spam the river whenever you can. 2. A tip i got from my friend who introduced me to this deck is that you can go for lumberjack one lane and baloon the other, cuz noone expects it and you can get damage on both towers(it has worked for me quite a few times)
in case you wanna use my deck its: fishyboi, hunter, skellies, EQ, royal delivery, royal hogs, log and e spirit, its an 2.8 cycle deck, it destroys logbait, golem, some hog decks, xbow, even graveyard. it struggles a bit against lavahound but you can beat it. The hardest deck tho is against recruits, but its still possible.
My deck that I've been playing since arena 10 E wiz,baby dragon,hog rider,skarmy,executioner,log,ice spirit. You can also change the executioner for pretty much any splashy card And bomber. OPPS
Goblin giant actually works really well with double prince for me. Full deck is goblin giant, prince, dark prince, goblin gang, spear goblins, bats, fireball, and zap.

I've been using this deck for around 2 years and pushed almost to master 3 with it. The deck is giant skeleton, electro wizard, log, tornado, lumber jack, balloon, fireball, and minion horde. The defences are super solid and no one expects the skill horde. It would be really cool if you could check it out.
kinda missed the concept of goblin drill mortar? i think what you supposed to do is put the goblin drill so the opponent is forced to play a troop then the mortar gets splash damage on the tower or something like that. the mortar can also bait out cards like valk which are good counters to gob drill.
I've used a variation of this deck my entire time playing clash royale: Golem, lightning, arrows, valk, tesla, ice wizard, electro dragon, and mega minion. PSA: I don't actually think my deck is good right now because it's very matchup dependent (I top out at around 6000 trophies), however my card levels force me to continue playing it until I can level up some better golem support cards.
Had a lot of fun and dubs with the dart goblin drill deck (Inferno Tower replacing Mortar). Post mortar nerf, subbed a Golden Knight for the knight and a Tesla for the inferno tower for a juicy 3 card cycle 2.6 elixir deck. Lotsa fun.

i havent used this deck in forever but every time ive used it was incredibly fun. golem, goblin barrel, poison. lumberjack (or dark prince), dart goblin (or ice wiz), skarmy (or bats), snowball, and tomb stone (or tesla). ik theres a lot of variety but u can mix and match to keep it spicy it is a must try for anyone looking to have some fun and a gg.
I made a deck few days ago (since my bats and night witch became max level). I played the game after 2 long years, And trust me, i climed to master 1 from bronze league. The deck was:- Mega Knight Night Witch Gob Barrel Bats Rage Zap Ebarbs Baby Dragon First use Night Witch and Bbf so that opponent thinks its a golem deck. Then use mega knight and G barrel to confuse him. At last, use Ebarb rage as a opposite lane push when opponent is out of elixir. I lost only 2 games, both facing Log bait.
A deck ive been having fun with is: Barb barrel Baby Dragon Mortar Giant Skeleton Mighty Miner Electro Spirit Lightning Firecracker Im not sure where it is now after the recent nerfs but so far it still works nicely for me. Tips on using it: Wait for your opponent to make the first move. If needed wait for double elixir to be aggressive. place mortars offensively in the middle to pull building only units and get tower shots or damage field units. Meanwhile you use giant skeletons to kill the units pulled and mighty miners to melt them too. use mighty miner skill to get rid of other small troops like minions if they place them. use baby dragon before you use firecracker, he usually survives and both defends mortar or can also chip towers if too much stuff is going on and they cant defend an incoming air troop. use lightning if any 6+ elixir value is within an area (especially if they're within tower range) (and use it on defense too!); it really helps to chip or kill units (especially support or rush attacks like hog + musk) and baby dragon / firecracker / mortar / Gskeleton bomb / mighty miner skill / e-spirit / barb barrel get them killed if they survive. im not an expert player but so far this worked for me
I created a lava loon deck when it was the meta quite a bit back. It still is very viable I think. Lava hound Balloon Tombstone Mega minion Zap Fireball or Tornado Firecracker I interchange fireball and tornado, the fireball is good for air attacking troops for a knockback, and the tornado is good with the firecracker for air defense as well

I made a golem graveyard deck. I pushed around 300 trophies with it. The deck is golem, graveyard, elixir pump, mirror, nado, mega minion, bats, and skeleton king/mini pekka. Just stack pumps, defend, and hit ‘em with the 1 push 3 crown. Even with mother witch the force of the deck overpowered it. I won every game with 3 crown with lvl 12 graveyard and lvl 12 skeleton king.

Switching up decks for pure fun is the way I play! Gotta enjoy what you do since it's a game meant for fun after all. I can't ever grind the game ONLY playing 1 deck for 4-5+ hours like others do - it gets boring for me fast. In classic challenges I’ve been running golden knight, magic archer, ice spirit, royal hogs, log, tornado, rocket, and inferno tower. It’s a bit heavy but I think it’s a fun creative way to get a lot of synergy with tornado!
You made me look at royal hogs royal recruits differently. As them being one of my war decks I never thought to not play the royal recruits in the back
One deck I’ve been workin with is : Flying Machine, fire spirit, giant skeleton, goblins, witch, skeleton barrel, inferno dragon and mortar . It’s like a chip style deck getting damage from mortar and Skelton barrel with the flying machine occasionally sneaking through with great defense

maybe try an updated Remy magic archer, miner, and walk breakers deck. no more valk, spear gobs, and fireball. with buffs use knight, gob gang, and log. way more damage potential with gob gang, faster cycle with knight, and don’t need valk for gob barrels with log

whats up jake? feeling great today as i just ended a game of super mario party with my siblings and did a small ladder push :D i also really like the idea of testing peoples decks, so im gonna suggest mine : giant, graveyard, electro spirit, witch, guards, log, freeze, bats youve just gotta keep a good defense with witch, guards and bats then set up that big giant graveyard freeze push. log and e spirit are very versatile additions that i mostly use for better defending and cycling.
WHY LOG?!?!?!?!? use snowball or arrows for log and unless your super good, tombstone for e-spirit (yes i know you want a reset in there but with giant graveyard its not the best idea)

I took a long break from CR and my OG payfecta deck has fallen off. I would love improvements to what I’ve been playing casually: 2.9 Defensive WB, double small spell: Miner, WB, Bats, Zap Log, Valk, Ice Wiz, Inferno tower. In my testing, double small spell can falter against multiple buildings, opponent double small spell answers Miner bats WB. Lavaloon and some spam shouldn’t be too bad.

I've always liked the idea of log bait but I think the classic log bait decks are kind of boring and could be WAY better. That's why I made this mirror log bait deck to show the world log bait's full potential. It's literally perfect: it's 'double' log bait. I got to 6000 thousand trophies with this deck: Rocket, Tesla, Log, Skarmy, Dart Goblin, Goblin Barrel, Mirror and Knight. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!❤

It’s a pricey deck and not a great synergy but I still find it one of the most fun decks to play time and time again, especially on defence.
Yo tag, i got a deck for you. Its a old deck that i used to get from 4600 trophies to 5000 trophies in ONE SITTING.
So it goes like this:

Freeze
Snowball
Guards
Minion horde
Mini pekka
Wizard
Also some tips for the deck:
1. Dont use too much brain power. Just spam the river whenever you can.
2. A tip i got from my friend who introduced me to this deck is that you can go for lumberjack one lane and baloon the other, cuz noone expects it and you can get damage on both towers(it has worked for me quite a few times)
btw you can also run tornado instead of wizard but i prefer wizard for extra air defence
The amount of value that dart goblin got in the mortar deck was insane

dart goblin is top 5 cards in the game right now, even including champions for me! The range, damage, and attack speed are simply unmatched 🏆

in case you wanna use my deck its:
fishyboi, hunter, skellies, EQ, royal delivery, royal hogs, log and e spirit, its an 2.8 cycle deck, it destroys logbait, golem, some hog decks, xbow, even graveyard. it struggles a bit against lavahound but you can beat it. The hardest deck tho is against recruits, but its still possible.
My deck that I've been playing since arena 10
E wiz,baby dragon,hog rider,skarmy,executioner,log,ice spirit.
You can also change the executioner for pretty much any splashy card

I love the firecracker so I Made a logbait Deck with it: Firecracker, goblin barrel, skellie barrel, skarmy, knight, log, fireball and inferno tower.
Goblin giant actually works really well with double prince for me. Full deck is goblin giant, prince, dark prince, goblin gang, spear goblins, bats, fireball, and zap.
finally a decent deck, but you should use bats for spear goblins

I've been using this deck for around 2 years and pushed almost to master 3 with it. The deck is giant skeleton, electro wizard, log, tornado, lumber jack, balloon, fireball, and minion horde. The defences are super solid and no one expects the skill horde. It would be really cool if you could check it out.

kinda missed the concept of goblin drill mortar? i think what you supposed to do is put the goblin drill so the opponent is forced to play a troop then the mortar gets splash damage on the tower or something like that. the mortar can also bait out cards like valk which are good counters to gob drill.
I've used a variation of this deck my entire time playing clash royale: Golem, lightning, arrows, valk, tesla, ice wizard, electro dragon, and mega minion.
PSA: I don't actually think my deck is good right now because it's very matchup dependent (I top out at around 6000 trophies), however my card levels force me to continue playing it until I can level up some better golem support cards.
Had a lot of fun and dubs with the dart goblin drill deck (Inferno Tower replacing Mortar). Post mortar nerf, subbed a Golden Knight for the knight and a Tesla for the inferno tower for a juicy 3 card cycle 2.6 elixir deck. Lotsa fun.

First use Night Witch and Bbf so that opponent thinks its a golem deck.

Im not sure where it is now after the recent nerfs but so far it still works nicely for me.
Tips on using it:
Wait for your opponent to make the first move. If needed wait for double elixir to be aggressive.
place mortars offensively in the middle to pull building only units and get tower shots or damage field units. Meanwhile you use giant skeletons to kill the units pulled and mighty miners to melt them too. use mighty miner skill to get rid of other small troops like minions if they place them. use baby dragon before you use firecracker, he usually survives and both defends mortar or can also chip towers if too much stuff is going on and they cant defend an incoming air troop. use lightning if any 6+ elixir value is within an area (especially if they're within tower range) (and use it on defense too!); it really helps to chip or kill units (especially support or rush attacks like hog + musk) and baby dragon / firecracker / mortar / Gskeleton bomb / mighty miner skill / e-spirit / barb barrel get them killed if they survive.

I made a golem graveyard deck. I pushed around 300 trophies with it. The deck is golem, graveyard, elixir pump, mirror, nado, mega minion, bats, and skeleton king/mini pekka. Just stack pumps, defend, and hit ‘em with the 1 push 3 crown. Even with mother witch the force of the deck overpowered it. I won every game with 3 crown with lvl 12 graveyard and lvl 12 skeleton king.

Switching up decks for pure fun is the way I play! Gotta enjoy what you do since it's a game meant for fun after all. I can't ever grind the game ONLY playing 1 deck for 4-5+ hours like others do - it gets boring for me fast. 20:04 I would also put snowball instead of zap because of the knockback.
In classic challenges I’ve been running golden knight, magic archer, ice spirit, royal hogs, log, tornado, rocket, and inferno tower. It’s a bit heavy but I think it’s a fun creative way to get a lot of synergy with tornado!

If you decide to play this deck try to play a little aggressive, mirror skelly freeze is op bc they drop a troop that splashes you can just freeze and watch as your skeletons rip apart the poor witch or wizard, dark prince is usually a good card to cycle at the start as well as bats or dart goblin, freeze and anything = BIG VALUE

maybe try an updated Remy magic archer, miner, and walk breakers deck. no more valk, spear gobs, and fireball. with buffs use knight, gob gang, and log. way more damage potential with gob gang, faster cycle with knight, and don’t need valk for gob barrels with log

youve just gotta keep a good defense with witch, guards and bats then set up that big giant graveyard freeze push. log and e spirit are very versatile additions that i mostly use for better defending and cycling.
WHY LOG?!?!?!?!? use snowball or arrows for log and unless your super good, tombstone for e-spirit (yes i know you want a reset in there but with giant graveyard its not the best idea)

2.9 Defensive WB, double small spell:
Miner, WB, Bats, Zap

In my testing, double small spell can falter against multiple buildings, opponent double small spell answers Miner bats WB.
Lavaloon and some spam shouldn’t be too bad.

I've always liked the idea of log bait but I think the classic log bait decks are kind of boring and could be WAY better. That's why I made this mirror log bait deck to show the world log bait's full potential.
