Hair dryer also known as a blow dryer is an electrical device used to dry and style hair it uses an electric fan to blow air across a heating coil as the air passes through the dryer it heats up when the warm air reaches wet hair it helps evaporate the water.

That's not right. In every hair dryer I've opened up the motor is connected to a tap in the heating element and runs from 6-12V. I have never seen one that is wired in parallel like that diagram.

Hi, my hair dryer suddenly lost the medium air speed strength and it only blows the high speed air. The temperature switch works normal (cold, medium and hot) but the air speed switch ( it has 0, I and II positions) now only has 0 and II options and when I choose option I (one) it is same as II. It just blows air at very high speed. How can I fix it??? I need that medium air speed back. Is it the switch? Or that small single diode next to the switch? Or something else? Would appreciate your help. Thank you :)
