I'm now 71 years old and thought I'd heard just about everything, then this comes along. I've spent my life trying to explore music from around the world then this comes along.
I just heard of them from a dude that was in Pearl Harbor about this band. Turns out his older brother is a part of it and I thought it was really cool. Hopefully I can talk with some more about this and become friends. I am in the Navy and he was in the JMSDF. Pretty neat to see them there and it is fun talking with some to find out that we have similar interests.

I came across Wagakii Band by complete coincidence and was completely blown away by the music and energy! I don't understand a single word but absolutely enjoy every second of the music!
They are always amazing, and each member is out of this world too, but in this performance of Ikusa, Kurona ... Oh my, he's so freaking cool and badass, I can't stop being like 🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😍😍😍

WTF?!? Now we've added a troupe of drummers and tumblers. This band keeps taking it over the top. I certainly would love to go to one of their concerts, but I live in the sticks of Montana and hate crowds. It's like Sammy Hagar, John Bonham, Jethro Tull, Janis Joplin, and PT Barnum reborn together ;-)

What is going on in the Japanese music industry in the last ten years that has produced this band, Band Maid and others? Is it in the music schools that have figured out a better way to train youngsters while still retaining passion to perform by the age 20? Is it a mixture of social and cultural things that just "produced" this great stuff sort of out of thin air? Would someone Comment if they know? Regardless great music and musicianship. Cheers and bravo.
Any of the 2 songs could have been a good OST for the wano arc in One Piece, TOEI really did miss a great chance of having a memorable OST for the wano arc.

Usage of traditional Nipponese instruments to modern rock elements is quite imaginative making it work is another thing...Wagakki makes it work !

Even after all these years, I still love Dai Shinnenkai 2018 the most. They're so amazing live but this particular one stands out the most to me.
