@@ScottB05 that would make sense in league games as outside of securing second we don't have much to play for other than pride, players would benefit massively from more senior games and we might even find some that can really do well if given the chance
despite the fact we need to improve the squad, january transfers are historically not great as you typically overpay or cant get the players you want, although not ideal i would be happy with a quiet winter window in favor of a solid summer window as outside of a miracle we only have the cup and however far we can go in europe as potential goals left this season
@dl2modder80 yes they are and that goes back to our scouting of these players as in our situation we can't afford to make errors as every bad choice sets our progress back as we are not able to just sell and replace easily, propper especially is more of a European defender and not suited to the physical nature of Scottish football, against footballing opposition he has had some decent games but cannot compete in the domestic grind
There is money to spend if we move on players on big wages . Evetybody has an idea on who we should sell "however" they are not the players other clubs want either . We will probably offer Lyall Cameron a pre-contract and someone will offer Tom Lawrence a pre-contract that we will be unwilling to match as he is well past his sell by date . Really worried about turning up at Old Trafford with Leon King at CH as we can't alter squad till after the league phase in Europe .
If we don't add at least a couple of first team quality defenders and another striker to he squad in this window, we can just write off the entire domestic season imo. As it stands we might still have a chance in the Scottish Cup and the possibility of some kind of run in Europe. If we bring nobody else in for the 1st team though, I think we can certainly kiss the Scottish Cup goodbye, although we might still surprise a few people in Europe (but that is also more likely if we strengthen).
@@colinmathie2710 His wages are the problem Colin . Kasanwirjo was on less than a fifth of what Davies was on. I reckon we will look out a similar loan for a young player.
We all want players but the reality is we don't have the funds to buy them. Our midfield is Ok our front line is ok but our defence is atrocious if we spend anything it has to be there. that being said for me the league is done so we have nothing to loose by giving the youths a chance makes more sense than getting into more debt.
I was more worried when he said they were already teams trying to buy of us....last thing we want to do is sell hagiography or raskan, jefte ingamie all need to stay.No chance people are wanting dowelled or dessers put it that way.Worried we might try an cash in on ingamie already tbh.mind we only paid 1,probably could get a 5/6 mill profit already

I'm a critic of Clement's management, his selections/tactics/substitutions/ man management are all suspect at best, but he is not all at fault here, the players must accept culpability, Kelly was very weak at Hibs third goal and doesn't command but neither does Butland, both full backs were awful and of course Yilmaz was very uncomfortable and Jefte was not at the races, Propper is a liability and Sterling looked lost at CB, put that together and it's a recipe for conceding goals, so after playing so well in the old firm why the sudden change ?. For me Raskin was the only one with pass marks, and I don't understand why Barron was suddenly dropped while Diomande is a non contributor most games, and it was so obvious Cerney and Bajrami were puffed out by half time but started the second half.

Why worry the seasons pretty much done. Give young players a go while injuries persist.
Clement won’t use young players he’ll probably play Dowell at CB

The money spent on the players sitting on the rangers bench was more than the full hibs team
Everything is a worry at the moment.
Our away form is shocking. Up and down all season, with more down than up.

Agreed, the league is over, build a descent team for next season. Concentrate in Europe and the Scottish Cup, give the fans something to cheer about.
You mean a decent team surely. A descent team is one that's going down.
