Great run my friend! Been played dirt on controller when it first came out and it was the first game a redownloaded when I got my wheel! I love it a lot, been using all your tunes for wrc as well thank you for that! Love from Pacific Northwest USA
I personally think Co-Driver is one of the best part of Dirt Rally 2.0. If you watch some of Petter Solberg onboard video, it sounds almost the same. I really miss Phil Mills so much.
Simply better than WRC, for each one thing good in WRC you have 3 in DR2. The only one sad thing is that I've played so much for so long that I know stages by memory. But I suppose would happen the same with WRC and is worse game.
Yeah, problem is with rally games, they never really bring new locations to the game so we always end up stuck with the same stages. I we had some in DR2 which kept the game fresh. But because WRC is licensed i imagined they can only use what's on the calender.
Very well driven mate, no way I'd be able to do a run like that if I were to fire up ol' DR2.0 today. Some people say that EA WRC is more forgiving, so if anything it could make you a worse driver? But coming back to DR2.0 you seem to be doing great, but maybe it's maturing as a driver overall. What's your take? I personally found EA WRC a bit more forgiving too, but handling characteristics similar enough that rally fundamentals still apply (left foot braking, weight transfer, rally racing line, etc)
I think wrc hits the balance of the car feeling like it has some weight to it. DR2 can feel floaty at times, but you are right that the same technique’s apply. And it could maybe make your a worse driver but again I think all experience is good experience
@@MikeyyRS yea that's pretty true too! all experience, even in other games just makes you more versatile, even adaptable. FOV, braking points, feedback are the first things to adapt to on a different sim, as long as it's not too arcadey, then less principles apply
I had a lot of fun filming this one, Which Old school rally game should i visit next?
RBR ?

Most of my tunes might be outdated now 😂 if they work though keep running them

Gorgeous stage, such a shame they had to switch game engines for capacity reasons. Great run mate.
I do miss the dulcet tones of Mr Grist...
This game looks as good as ever!
Nice vid mate. But i did notice your dog going at it in the beginning 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Funny thing is he was eating my left over dinner 😂
@@MikeyyRS 🤣🤣
I miss Phil, bring back Phil
also Maine looks so good with all the color, I think I've got some times in h3 and rgt on those stages
You should check out the Sébastien loeb game pretty good for the time frame it came from

@@MikeyyRScalendar yes, but youve also got Corsica which isnt on the calendar so they can expand it freely

Online MP must be great ?
Its not bad when you can find a lobby
is there people playing PVP online?
There are a few times a day you catch folk on there. We go on sometimes and do some rallycross
🚗 get bailey on the wheel 🐕
The best Rally Game!
Look at the trees. The spectators. Ea wrc scenery seems bare and no ones watching you.
