Performed by the SUU Opus Chamber Choir under the direction of Dr. Kevin Baker
Recorded on October 18, 2013 in Cedar City's Heritage Center Theater
Yes! Let's get some original Gershwin around here! THIS is what he composed! It was a very serious choral arrangement, meant to haunt you. Serious. No fooling around jazz. Haunting.
Showed up for the choir performing gershwin, stayed for the pen fidgeting ASMR tysm 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏💪
Fantastic. Thank you!
STUNNING. So glad I found this!
Beautiful song! I had never heard it done by a choir but wow!
THIS is what was in his head. Not jazzed up. It was supposed to be haunting.
@@DavidBrown-bp4iq yes but too much vibrato
i did the same as a bass,, same number group,, in other words we were good, lol, hope you all had a great time, xo
Nice arrangement!
BRAVO!!!
Best song. "Let It Be" okay but THIS one? Wait a minute! What right do these "white" people have to sing this? But anyway, neither men nor women could sing it alone. Could they? A choral imagination if ever there was one. "What were you thinking, George?" "Here ..." THIS is the way Mr. (F-ing amazing) Gershwin wrote it. Chills. A Chorus. Not snappy bar jazz.
