OMG!!! Jasmine that was FANTASTIC. Definitely my favorite rendition of this piece. BRILLIANT!! So absolutely beautiful, haunting, majestic, lyrical and whimsical. If their is anything can come close to achieving perfection, this is it. I'm still bummed I didn't get to see you when you came to Boston. Next time for sure. I’m playing this as my solo for the Texas State Solo & Ensemble contest (I’m actually on my way right now haha). I absolutely love this piece. I’ve been preparing it for over a year and I never get tired of playing it- there’s so much you can play with to make this solo your own. I’ve listened to probably every recording there is of this piece and was extremely delighted to see that you uploaded a video of it, Jasmine😍 I could only hope to play as wonderfully as you. Dear Jasmine, The chemistry is always special when you perform with Hugh Sung, and thank you for sharing your beautiful, musical and virtuoso rendition of Doppler's Hungarian Pastoral Fantasy which has been one of my favourite pieces in the flute repertoire of all time. I guess it brings out a bit of the gypsy in you! Bravissimo! I was hoping to play this for you if you were to come by Hong Kong! :-)

Oh My Word This made my day, he is playing one of my CHOICE PIANO'S with your flute! Absolutely fantastic and smashingly BEAUTIFUL to the EAR.... AT LEAST MINE ANYWAY! I ALSO LOVE Petrof's and Steinway's too! I have an AMAZING HEAR, I would have been once upon a dream a pretty good musician and composer too! But at least I can still listen with pleasure and glee, and joy and excitement because of never having to worry about this one thing....NEVER LOSING THE EAR! :) I love listening to you play, and those you play with such good taste! :D
Another wonderful performance of a piece that was new to me. From the solemn to the lyrical to the vibrant, this piece has many parts, and you play them all with such grace and beauty. It was really the lovely last part that seemed the most Hungarian to me, with a passage at 9:00 or so that reminded me strongly of a czardas. Another favorite of mine is the lyrical flight that starts at 5:28, and is an utter joy to listen to. Another glorious new piece from your channel. Thank you.

Superb and satisfying performance Jasmine. Beautiful tone and technique. I've challenged myself to learn this (don't know whether I could do it from memory though). Prefer it to even Pahud's version.
