Very clean and bright house you are in. So much different then some of the dumps that you go into. I would be afraid to go into some of the dumps that you go in
Great video curtis! Question could u have used a center punch instead of screwdriver to knock that shaft through or would that not work? Learning a lot from vids you are the best!
I noticed that too. Some was probably the worn material from the motors bearings and oil. But I didn't expect to see that amount of mess in such a clean home & attic. Even the outside surface of the unit looked fairly new.
@@patrickinottawa27 I'm going to take a guess and say the reason for the dust is an elderly lady lives there and uses a broom to sweep her floors. Brooms make a heck of a lot of dust, the AC will pull that into the system, now we all know how filters don't get changed regularly. Most likely the lady sweeps nearly daily (I know my grandmother did!) so the system naturally gathered the dust. It's also why we need to check on our older family member's central heating and air systems for them regularly.
Condensation "Most of the year, Georgia is a hot & humid environment. Even during their winter months, it can warm up enough in the afternoon to require AC and then heating at night. Hot Moist Air meets cold = Condensation.
All that work building a pedestal in the attic for the ac system and not one light. And how can everything be so nasty in that unit everyone is breathing all that dirty funk.
man that is a dream attic, don't see too many of those lol
Thanks sir. Nice clean place. That motor stopped a Trane.
That's how all attics should be
I will agree with that for single story. Mine is upstairs and through a door like a mechanical room, completely decked, easy peasy. Water heater too
Man hvac guy I’m jealous you got that attic !!!!!! Good job 👏🏼
Ye, that one was a luxury
Would be a pleasure to work in that attic. Lol
Curtis , congratulations on your 70k subs. Keep up the good work!
Thanks
We need to get him up there with Steve Lav and Mikey P. 😅
Excellent job as usual, Curtis!
Thanks, appreciate it.

Thanks Curtis for taking us along on the Sunday job, i assume all went well 👍 Au
I just ditched out on the Commander's Eagles game to watch this cuz this is going to be better exclamation mark😂
😂
@@HVACGUY you must be from Washington.
@Kenbo-topshelf nope! Just don't want Phili to win but, don't really care that much, eighther
Hey Curtis, happy Sunday afternoon Man
You too
That roof is a lot of pitch for southern Georgia. Lucky you.
Nice work Curtis.
I think I'm going to send you a Drift....Harbor Freight has a set for about $14....nice work.
Decent place to work in that attic. I would have done the same thing and tried to hook it back up and see, knowing it wouldn't work. Nice job
👍👍👍
That is the same hammer I have

Personally if the shaft will not come off easily I use a puller. It only takes a couple of minutes and does not damage anything.
You need a nice flat center punch to pop those motors off.
Curtic probably has $40k in tools yet doesn't own a ballpen hammer and a center punch or drift.....wtf😂😂😂😂
Why was there so much dirt in the motor, the blower assembly and in that compartment? Interesting compared to how seemingly clean the attic was.

No mention of why it is sooooo rusty on the bottom of the blower housing?????

Not trying to be critical or picky, but a vent is where flue gases are exhausted and supply register is where the air blows out
I'm curious...Why were there 3 wires going to that capacitor instead of the usual 2?
I bet you thought you died and went to heven when you saw that attic. No ducts to crawl over and good room to work.
Would a punch and hammer work to knock the motor free from the impeller work or would it cause damage to something?
I cringe whenever you use a screwdriver and lineman plier as a hammer and punch!
Nice video as always! Just a question. Why do you use your middle finger instead of your pointer finger on the drill? Just preference?
The same reason dumb people ask stupid questions😮
@davidk6498 huh?
1st😂
