Thanks so much for sharing all your tips and tricks and directions for creating a mood board! I remember after we got married and the first few places we lived (we moved about every 3-4 years for my husband’s work), I used to take a 3 ring binder, and I’d add everything from paint swatches, fabrics, inspiration images from magazines or photos, etc. This was back in the late 80s to late 90s. It was always helpful, but having this on a phone or tablet would be so much easier.

Brandy, this is amazing! I always say you are the Queen of mood boards and I aspire to pull this together with your tips. Sometimes I find my mood board lives only only in my head but I can't find exactly what I want online or in books or anywhere. It could be a certain neutral color scheme or a particular wood color, finish, look. The ideas are endless, and at times there might be too many to filter through but your video just gave me inspo. My friend!! I totally understand but it’s because we are PICKY (which I think is a good thing) but when we find that perfect piece we KNOW and we will have it forever! I so get you though, I am the exact same way and still have things in dream boards that I have yet to find anything close. @Brandy Jackson My Friend you get me!!! Great minds think alike. We are picky and IDK about you but my ideas, my home decor purchases and upgrades have to check so many boxes. I don't go by trends or shop impulsively like before. It has to speak to me, it has to catch my eye, head turning if you will. When you know you know, RIGHT? "Dream Boards" are a perfect description. Couldn't agree more. I hope you can treat yourself to that gorgeous lamp when the time comes, and I know that dream home will come when the time is right. THANK YOU SO MUCH. I just didn't know how to do the mood boards using Canva. Such great info. Also excellent idea about taking a picture with your phone of your board so you can use when shopping. Just love your channel & watch all the time. My husband & I bought a home a year ago & it is our soon to be retirement home. So at age 64 we are in that process of getting rid of what does not serve us well anymore. Time for a refresh which is exciting. I have loved Interior Design all my life. Yeah I can do this!!!!

Love the new camera setup! Ahh your mood boards are the best. I always go to them for inspo! In the future oh my goodness I would looove a cozy backyard moodboard. I know you’re in AZ but I tend to lean more lush and cozy and less desert style for my taste in exteriors. Would love to see your take on that if you ever needed more mood board ideas 😊

I tried Canva before. I could only halfway figure it out. So for me personally it was not very user friendly. But I’m not great with stuff like that lol. Maybe I’ll try it again one day in the future LOL. But I spent hours and it only kinda let me make one board.
How do you do the find in Amazon. I didn’t know you can upload a photo to Amazon to do a search. It would be great if you could do a video about this. Or just give me quick directions if it’s super easy. Thx. Loved this video. I need to do this.
I think this is only an app feature but once you are in the app, go like you are about to search.. in the search bar you will see a little camera and mic on the right (in the search bar) Click the camera and then click “search your photo” it will pull up your camera gallery from your phone. Select the image you are trying to search and Amazon will then search to see if they have anything similar. I hope I explained this well. 🤞🏼🥰
You can do this with Google Images and Pinterest as well

How do I get clients? Can you do a video how you found clients?
I think the best way to start is to start sharing your spaces and ask to decorate for friends. I got my first client from our gym! We had been working out at the gym together and she overheard me talking to someone and then hired me, from there she referred me to friends.. I hope this helps and will absolutely do a video in the future 🤗
