    HCV (minus) Latent heat of vaporization gives you LCV
    It's fine
    But what about the heat escaped along with hot gases such as carbon dioxide etc produced in the process which are not cooled to the room temperature.

    Pathak jee one question arises here as u told that H2 present in coal get oxidised with O2 and generate h2o ....so here why the h2o is directly convertd into steam without boiling i mean why boiling process is not happening here ?

      Amount of heat is so high and quantity of water is too low, so heat transfer is very fast manner
