People keep saying branded can easily beat SE... Ofc those people do not branded. It is nearly impossible to win versus 2+ ht and SE board, no matter how good your hand was. This channel is the living proof of that. Looking at ALL nightfall and other branded players matches vs SE, they won 5 times out of 31, and only 2 of them going second. People talk just to give their mouth fresh air, not even thinking, not even trying

@@codymolenaar2358 nightfall won 2 matches going first against SE, 1 going second, 10 losses. It's not branded/pilot fault, it is just not possible to win. Put SE to 1 and maybe we are talking

I really respect how much branded players have improved but at the same time I can only feel disgust the moment sanctifire hits the board.
It's crazy how much Branded can do. They would've ruled the meta if people figured out these lines earlier.
tbf cartesia and quem added a LOT to the deck and kashtira had a pretty good branded matchup (when the branded stuff came out)

Huh. I feel like the play would've been to honestly just make Rindbrumm. Because realistically with the turn priority it would be Albion making rind, chain 1 merc to search, and then s:p COULD activate but you could negate with Rind then would have a bounce potentially. Idk. Food for thought

Can Alba Lenatus be used as fusion material on the field if it is negated while on the field in the same but opposite manner that Lo cannot be used as a whole ritual tribute if it is negated on the field?
„cannot be used as material“ is a condition, lo‘s effect is an unclassified effect

All the branded player had to do game 3 was just keep bihs in hand and go into lubellion with albaz + puppet and then into sanctifire and they puppet lock

Why is branded so hard
for the same reason why its so cool to play. you can search literally everything and have like 20 different (reasonable) approaches to staring hands, but if you make 1 false decision (even if its a small one) it will most likely lose the game

@6:37 it doesn’t work either because Albion is not albaz in hand so you can’t fuse if you add Albion to hand for the same reason you can’t fuse if you put back a despia fusion.
shrouded dragon doesnt need to be albaz to make a chimera
The only requirement to fuse is to add something to hand. If you target a fusion Despia then yes you won't get the "then fusion summon" effect. Hand is a private knowledge, so there's no further "checks" of the card name once it's in the hand, hence it doesn't matter if Albion is no longer Albaz in hand.
