What I like about Where The Streets Have No Name is that right before the Carcass, there's a book actually hinting at and describing it in case you hadn't seen it before.
In case you are worried that the Carcass enemy was plagiarized, Rem and Hydra said it’s completely fine to use in any levels. I am also pretty sure the Unfortunate Development boss is a reference to Rem as well.

@@TondarYZD well, not really, Carcass doesn't get enraged for being Whiplashed, he just doesn't like it and bites it off making you unable to use it for some seconds. However he does get enraged when you kill his eyeballs. Also he makes a summon sigil underneath you sometimes and it wrecks your when you step on it
You do know that Gluttony and the custom level isn’t inside King Minos’ Corpse right? The entrance to it was placed in his mouth because It looked cool not because we went inside him.
The carcass got lost in the Denver Airport. That’s why he’s everywhere, he’s trying to find his way to his terminal to hop on his plane home
