The easiest way to prevent any ransomware from encrypting your files (besides having up-to-date antivirus and not clicking in any suspicious links) is simply having a full HDD/SSD. Ransomware needs free space on your disk to create encrypted copies of your files before it actually deletes the original files. If your disk is full, in most cases ransomware will just crash.

You can try reverse engineering the encryptor. If you can find what encryption algorithm they are using, I am pretty sure that the key is "WANACRY!". That's how you'll decrypt your files... It'll be a long, hard and a painful process, but itll be worth it..
