She was cut off on two crucial questions, Climate change and Knife crime during the recent debate - the former she was mid rebuttal of Farage's nonsenical point and the latter she was cut off before she to got the underlying factor about Knife crime being poverty, inequality, lack of funding in youth centres and lack of opportunities in deprived areas (so she had to cut in at point and mention wealth inequality). That was extremely annoying, other than this and few nit picking details the moderator did a decent job considering the political climate.
I love her so much. I'm glad she's getting coverage. I deeply respect her as I am an animal biology student, and seeing someone who studied environmental protection go into politics after realising that's where the barrier was is great to see
They have some very good policies and have made some real progress with this over the last 5-10 years. Carla also has a very good approach to interviews and multi party debates. Some of the other leaders could learn a lot from her. If the Greens can win at least the 4 seats they're aiming for they'll be able to hold the new PM to account much better.
Not sure why, hypothetically, this would seem like a party to not vote for? I get that theres no clear understanding of where this budget comes from but, if we say they could afford all this without ruining the economy, why would you not vote Green?
The tories cut substantial levels of funding, you should look at the funding models. Austerity, Brexit, Cronyism to Tory donors and rampant profiteering is why we're in this damn mess. Why do you think there is a moronic ban on onshore / offshore wind? We're a blood island for crying out loud, we get so much wind down our shores which could have been used to drive down our utlitiy bills. Yet, we're beholden to the rampant fleecing of utility companies - when prices of Gas and Oil drops we do not see the reduction in our bills. Ask yourself why is that?
Councils get money from central government, many MANY councils are underfunded and some have legit declared bankruptcy, but it's the Greens fault for Brighton? Pull the other one!
That's because of the forces that be - the fossil fuel industry has been at this for decades with lobbying and misinformation campaigns whilst they knew the impacts of what they were doing. Hell they funded the research and shelved it because it would cost them some money. As opposed to shifting to renewables and making money that way... they decided to keep drilling for gas and oil. Short sighted greedy toads.
If that's the best you can come up with @guff9567 I'll assume you're probably a Reform voter. Maybe a deluded Conservative if my first guess was wrong.
It can be influenced and right now it's being influenced by humans - negative human activity such as deforestation, pollution, tar sands, burning of plastics and fossil fuels.
Lots of good, honest answers. My respect for Carla is growing.

Better late than never, the green party hardly got much air time previously.
Voting green 💚 is a good choice for the many and not the few.

Tactical voting unfortunately is necessary in most of the UK...
@@joirnpettersen100% agree but to have hate towards the party, even if you're tactically voting, seems odd

Because people have bought into the scaremongering of the mainstream parties

well said carla!
What war on drugs? You have to be on drugs to think that there is a war on drugs.
