The issue with GMO corn is ironically not the corn itself, but why they genetically modify it. The Monsanto corporation has monopolized this market and just happens to be the manufacturer glyphosate (Round-Up herbicide) and pesticide called dicamba as well. They have genetically modified crops like corn and soy beans to be resistant to these chemicals would normally kill these crops. They did this so they could spray the chemicals over the entire crops as weeds control and pest control. There is a misconception that these GMO crops are modified to be insect resistant so pesticides are not needed. This is a lie. They are actually modifying them to be chemical resistant instead. But they still absorb these chemicals.

Too much of anything can kill you, even water can kill you if you drink too much of it. I honestly think that the information here is half baked and milk toast. Actually processed honey is more dangerous to your health than raw honey. There have been study after study of the benefits of natural unprocessed foods like raw honey. Take what he has to say with a grain of salt, from what I’ve watched. He’s been doing minimal research at best
The best microwave popcorn...take a plain brown paper bag. Put in 1/4 - 1/3 cup unpopped popcorn. Fold the top of the bag over so it fits upright in your microwave. Cook on hight for 2 mins or until the popping slows down. Remove the popped corn from the bag to a bowl and add salt and butter. You can then return the bag to the microwave to finish popping the unpopped kernels or add another 1/4 cup to the bag and pop more. I've been doing this for years and it makes quick, easy and the best popcorn. NOTE - only do this in a microwave with a turntable. Keep an eye on the bag to be sure it keeps moving in the microwave. If the bag gets stuck in a corner, immediately stop the microwave and reposition the bag. Failure to do this may result in the bag catching on fire. Had this happen only once.

I also grew up on raw milk to the extent that I can't tolerate pasteurized, I would not recommend raw milk from a bulk supplier however, I always kept our cows or goats clean and carefully monitored their health Know where your food comes from if you can
Science experiment: In a room at least at room temperature: Set a small labeled container (perhaps a half pint) of pasteurized milk on a counter top and another small container also labeled of fresh raw milk. Wait one week. Open each container & drink. The pasteurized milk will be so rotten foul you will not be able to drink it. The raw milk will be pleasantly sour & still drinkable. The rottenness of the pasteurized milk is due to the staph & strep germs that survive the pasteurization. The raw milk also has staph & strep but also larger amounts of lactoferments aka healthy bacteria, so it is still healthy to drink. Unless your digestion is strong enough, that is, your body is well oxygenated (most are not), you will not be able to adequately digest the massive casein protein molecule of any milk, raw or pasteurized & you'll get sick with ear & throat problems & body odor. But the pasteurized will be much more of a problem than the raw. If the "raw" milk test pint also rots that means it was not good raw milk or not raw at all, or had been pasteurized. ... westonaprice.org ...
@solaura no neither staff nor strep can survive 180 deg f the minimum requirement for pasteurization however the heating process changes the proteins of the milk and afterwards it will rot. Home made cottage cheese is made by leaving unpasteurized milk in a covered container at room temperature and allowing it to curdle, also by introducing selected bacteria you can create yogurt or kefir if you have staff or strep in your milk you need to get out the bleach and figure out what you're not cleaning right

I would rather buy it from a store

mY DAUGHTER MILKS AND THE MILK IS AWESOME
Science experiment:
In a room at least at room temperature:
Set a small labeled container (perhaps a half pint) of pasteurized milk on a counter top and another small container also labeled of fresh raw milk.
Home made cottage cheese is made by leaving unpasteurized milk in a covered container at room temperature and allowing it to curdle, also by introducing selected bacteria you can create yogurt or kefir if you have staff or strep in your milk you need to get out the bleach and figure out what you're not cleaning right
Yup any sick cow is moved off the milking line to be medicated and not return until a couple weeks after no longer sick to be sure no drugs left in their system.

I used to eat Doritos, until I found out how bad they are, be careful what snack foods you eat.
Hydrogenated vegetable oil (Crisco) is the kind of fat to avoid. Saturated fat is not bad for you if it is coconut oil, butter, or bacon fat. Olive oil is not for deep frying. Air fryers are great for single living as you can bake raw tortillas with no added chemicals without heating up your whole oven. Even single slices of pizza heat up fantastic. I used to work at a Mexican restaurant and fried the tortillas every day for the nacho chips. Tortillas can even be fried in butter, but won't be as crispy. Toss tortilla slices in melted butter and olive oil, then bake in an air fryer and your snacks will be fine. Corn meal can even be rolled out to make your own tortillas and chips. Treat them like french fries. (freedom fries for red states)
