Great reminder sub han allah. This is why Islam is the best religion. No excuses, no exceptions. With heat power comes great responsibility for us women.
Indeed; but the fact is, missing our salah and fast during our menses can be viewed as an ibadah itself because we ARE abiding the rules of Allah swt by doing this, aren’t we?
thank you for sharing this. I usually hear some preachers when explaining this hadith said I'm(a woman) is basically dumb and the majority of us are in hell.(downgrading tone) now that I know the context where it was recorded-it's clearer.
This was so amazing and Shaykh gives the explanation here that a very famous scholar of Baghdad was known for giving but, of course, Shaykh Yasir does it in a very gentle way. He is amazing with women...a lot can be learned just in this lecture alone on how a man should talk to a woman about sensitive topics. MashaaAllaah I am blown away like Jeff Bridges.
Actually the need for two female witnesses is so that one is not ignored. 9:20 Edit: I do agree we need it more simply because of the missed salah. Seeking extra istighfar because Allah gave us relief from this daily duty, so when we can't pray, we should fill that time with istighfar to thank Allah.
Ohhhh and here I am making duaas the whole day for lots of thing and alongside that I curse and fight my kids because they make me tired and annoy me and I sometimes argue with my husband because of financial issues I didn’t even know I should seek istighfar for my those behaviours
Watch the video again. It is not talking about your situation. It is not about arguing about problems. If the husband is doing well day after day, thecwife adores him, but if he does a mistake, she treats him as if he never did anything good to her. This hadith is more against emotional abuse towards the spouse.
Wa alaykum assalaam warahmatullaah. This is a continuation of the hadeeth from last time, a controversial hadith for our modern times due to the fact that it is critical of women. It is critical of them in matters that, for lack of a better way of expression, God has created within them as tests. Shaykh Yasir Birjas does his best, as other trained clerics in Islamic history have done in history, in giving one possible interpretation of the words of the Prophet. God knows best to the ultimate reality of this hadith and others that can be problematic in our time today. Especially with women having the amazing power that they do in society over men. God help us with justice between men and women and their affairs, especially in marriage and divorce. Aaameen!
I love these reminders for women especially from learned older Shuyookh. May Allah SWT preserve the Ulamaa and recitify our matters.

Yes, I didn't even think of that, we miss alot of prayers due to our menses.
