"You Are Everything" written by Thom Bell and Linda Creed & recorded by the The Stylistics was released as a single in 1971 on the Avco label, reaching number 9 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart, number 10 on the Billboard R&B chart, & number 24 on the Billboard Easy Listening chart, & selling over one million copies globally, earning the group a gold record. Russell Allen Thompkins Jr. sang the lead with Airrion Love on the opening harmony. Background vocals were done by Russell, producer Thom Bell, Carl Helm, Bunny Sigler, Kenny Gamble, & Phil Hurtt. The track appeared on the group’s 1971 debut album, The Stylistics on Avco Records. The album is available on CD on Amherst Records.
