I have a neighbor that has to plug into my outside outlet to keep his engine warm enough to start. I bought one of these to see just how much elec. he's using. This is exactly what I need to do just that but the instructions were difficult to understand. You flicked through the settings options so fast I couldn't really figure out what you were doing. But I did learn some things. Most importantly I feel confident that I can fool around with it 'til I get it to tell me what I need to know.
Thankfully it's really simple and there's just 7 simple pages to toggle through and the manual and the Internet can help you with the different terminologies and if You have any questions let me know. Hopefully it serves you well!
I have meter…how did you get milliamperes/amps it is not in the manual? Hand motion in video is too quick for me to see what button you are pushing and holding at times, but otherwise a good review. Thanks!
Hello, to get milliamps/amps you have to click the down arrow it's right under watts and it will display (CUR) [on left the side] It is auto-ranging so it will only show milliamps if you're under 1 amp (EXAMPLE: IF you're over 1 amp it will display 1.356amps) (Example: if you're under one amp it will show up to three digits before the decimal point (999 for example) Let me know if that solved your problem
Thank you for this

If you would have took time explaining using the buttons instead of going back in forth on talkin about the features it would have been more helpful.
Thank you!! 😊

@@Alexwarestudios Thank you so much for the detailed and quick reply! I’ve got it now!
This video has the same level of qualify as the manual of the product: none.
How is this meter holding up thus far?
It has been working great I even used it on my air conditioner which can take up to 14 amps.
I've owned mine at least 6 years. Worked great except a wire came loose and I thought it died. I opened it up and was able to resolder it.
