Click to watch Eric Polani Jensen, Aaron Shanks, Greg Stone, and Hugh Hastings sing "Lida Rose" at The 5th Avenue Theatre's production of The Music Man.
My mom used to sing me to sleep with this when I was younger, and now whenever I'm anxious or can't sleep, I come and listen to it until I fall asleep or calm down
I miss the Buffalo Bills. They were the BEST. Shirley Jones says that for two years of doing the show this dual number with Shirley Jones was ALWAYS a showstopper.

Best love song ever.
I just love that song.
We did " The Music Man"
songs
in High School
The songs
still
in my Heart.
So sweet I listened twice in a row. The Tenor I is superb. 😮
Harold Hill: Works every time.
Awesome! Perfect!!!
I love this song. Great memories of watching "The Music Man" with the family.
I love barbershop!!

Barbara Cook was Marion in the show. Shirley Jones was in the movie, not the show on Bdway.
Simply beautiful.
Bravo, well done.
Bravo
Beautiful.
Very nice
Fantastic !!!!
Really nice rendition & nice costumes! The vibrato is a bit ample for barbershop though.
A Cappella Trudbol
trudbol does an amazing cover. as well as others! shamful plug. i know.
From Kensington Palace!
This was sung at Meredith Willson's funeral. He is home again.
Sam and colby
I'm glad I'm not the only one 😂
So here is my love song; not fancy or fine...
I still wonder why its "ding dong DING, i can hear the chapel bells chime" instead of "i can hear the chapel bells ring"
Could be because holding a chord on "chime" would sound better than "ring"... Just a thought.
It rhymes with "shy" in the previous verse.
Who is that tenor? I must know!!!
T1 is Aaron Shanks
You cut off the final high note?
The voices and the harmony is very good, but it lacks the casualness and spontaneity of the Buffalo Bills in the original.
Still - thumbs up.
The biggest thing is it lacks continuous sound, something top notch quartets prioritize in order to set a conversational tone to the music.
Not fair to compare them to the Bills
@@jamiecarter3715 The Buffalo Bills were a boys club president, a corporate exec, a truck driver, and a policeman.
SAM AND COLBY FANS??
Are they a real quartet because there doesn’t appear to be any blending
Tenor is too overpowering
And I’m not pulling down tenors I use to be one
