Hirasawa always looking on the bright side even after loosing yet another close friend/colleague (same with Satoshi Kon; two geniuses taken too soon) I think we can all agree we are all in Kentaro Miura’s debt for introducing so many to the grand daddy of dark fantasy and the greatest manga of all time and we will all be there when his dream fully comes true with Berserk continuing HAI YAH FORCES, brothers!!!
Read a great little anecdote about Susumu Hirasawa that he was the only choice Miura had for Berserk's music; he had used to write the manga while listening to Hirasawa's work, and made sure he had total freedom as the composer
Hirasawa has gone on record to say that composing for Berserk was really easy because so many of its themes already fit with him. The songs to him still feel like "his" songs rather than just some pieces he wrote for Berserk. It's probably why he's still happy to return to Berserk even after 20 years, despite being an experimentalist who doesn't like doing the same thing again

If you told me you this is THE greatest anime track ever made I would not even consider arguing the point. I LOVE Forces and seeing V do it was such a great surprise!

Berserk is a great piece of fiction, it a shame the 2016 adaptation was such a flop with how the characters looked, alongside other issues such as the pots and pans of the Dragonslayer swinging

Ну смотри У него очень хорошие исполнения по DMC и MGR, могу еще вспомнить I Am All of Me. Основные просмотры у него как раз таки либо на мемах либо на каверах треков из игр так что и по просмотрам и по исполнению (исключение Bury the Light) лучше делать как раз таки такие каверы - а аниме каверы может и хорошо исполнены но это послушать 2-3 раза и положить на полку.
@@Archi-08 Как уже сказали - дело вкуса. Некоторые аниме каверы в принципе очень популярны и их переслушивают и пересматривают годами не меньше других. Я лично себя стараюсь не ограничивать выбором треков, если они действительно хороши. Тем паче, я думаю, что автор сам разберётся с вектором творчества без анализа обывателей.

This goes so hard. Loads of people have done metal covers but you’ve managed to keep the same retro/techno vibes and it actually still feels like berserk
Now this is the kind of cover that makes you wanna dress in the blackest gear you have, pickup the largest slab of iron you can & unleash the most blood curdling scream you could, while swinging like a madman, good stuff.
What I like about this metal cover is that it doesn't turn the song into something that it wasn't, but just sort of changes the soundfont. This work is extremly high-quality, and you should sure be proud of it!
