- Tim Keller sermons via Gospel in Life: A recording of the Sunday service after 9/11. Jesus experiences both anger and grief in the face of human suffering. But he also brings about a resurrection; according to the Bible, everything bad will come untrue. Jesus is the perfect Counselor who gives us grace even when he has to suffer for us.

This sermon was preached by Rev. Timothy Keller at Redeemer Presbyterian Church on September 16, 2001.
I have listened to this sermon over and over and over again. You can so clearly feel the pain, sadness and grief in his voice but the Lord so mightily empowered him to preach in such a way that touches the deepest part of the soul. His voice conveys so much compassion and grief in every single word! The way his voice broke trying not to cry throughout the sermon really touched me. Thank you, Dr. Keller, for this precious sermon.
Tim, my name is James. I thank God for your messages. Ive had serious deppression after loosing many loved ones and having my heart broke by a woman. Your messages has helped me. Thank you.
Stay strong, James. God's with you (:
Life gets more stressful than we should let it get, feeling like we have to participate in everything. I love what he mentioned about us just existing sometimes as great Christian people around here! Woo Hoo JESUS ROCKS!!
My daughter gave me an album for my birthday. It was produced in October, 2001, by Marcos Witt. It’s called “Sana Nuestra Tierra” (Heal Our Land) and must have been started long before the attack on the towers. It’s based on 2 Chronicles 7:14-22. Most people stop at verse 18; 19 begins “But...”. Please read 19-22, too.
Never forget 9/11-2001 RIP al the victims.
Have you read the Bible?
This is such a moving and powerful sermon that gives me hope! I've cried after listening to this several times over the period of which I've known about this message. God bless Tim Keller and to God be the glory! :)
This sure is a timely message in the time of Coronavirus.
Alleluia. Rubbing in His love and truth.
Wow, this is beautiful and full of truth!
I listened to this one day after the 9-11 20th commemoration. This is one of the most powerful sermons I have ever heard or read. Thank you, Tim Keller. I had purchased a copy of your book On Death late February 2020. Little did I know that my father would be dying in two weeks. Your book was a comfort to me and my family. I purchased more copies to give to others believers grieving. The devotions you and Kathy did early in the pandemic was such a blessing to us.
After watching the 9/11 specials for the 20th anniversary, I was grieving again for the lives lost then as well as the last 20 years. What is the point? Thanks Tim Keller for such a gracious reminder of the Good News I needed to hear today.
please Tim some more sermon videos, thank you
did anyone else weep listening to this

Incredible, its simlpe incredible. We as christians Never should be angry on people inflicting us harm. Instead we should concetrate our anger on the evil things which happened to the Same people that really caused their deep deception out of which they believe the lie their Bad behaviour Against us represents a Solution.
Fabien Bustaus you're a Christian?

Fabien Bustaus so where do you think sin comes from? I only ask because I've gotten different answers from different Christians so I like to ask :)
