- Ewald’s Laws are so important! If you can remember the laws, then you can figure out just about any type of BPPV. Here’s a quick tip video explaining the laws, and applying them to Horizontal Canal BPPV, both canalithiasis and cupulolithiasis.
CORRECTION:
At time stamp 1:56 the term "utricle" is used mistakenly. What should be said instead is "cupula"

I’m a PT who treats BPPV and I didn’t know these laws. After watching this about 10 times I think I finally get it and things make more sense to me. Thank you for explaining it so clearly. Your channel has all kinds of great videos, I’ve recommended it to other clinicians as well.
Amazing video so helpful I’m a pt with a patient with horizontal canal bppv can’t wait to use this next visit! So glad I found this channel

Awesome Danielle. Thanks for this video.
Just a quick question, I had a client with apogeotropic nystagmus on left head roll test but nothing on the right side. Do you have any experience or explanation for this ?
Hi Priti. It is been one year you wrote this comment but i really wonder about when you did maneuver, was it work?
And i had experience, it just one side apogeotropic nystagmus after 3 or 4 BBQ-Roll maneuver.
Excellent video! I have managed to figure out that the loose crystals are in my left horizontal canal. The only thing is I'm not sure which maneuver to use to fix it with. I can turn my head left, right, look up and doesn't cause any issues only when I look down and bend forward I do have vertigo. Could you please advise or link a video to help me I don't have access to a clinic. Thank you so much in advance.
You can check out to her podcast "talk dizzy to me" season 1 episode 14.

Vertical is the Superior and Horizontal is the Lateral canal.
