Not gonna lie, I've never been a fan of Aversions Crown. But this? Ohhhh boy, this song. I could really get into them if they keep this sound. The atmospheric undertones with those soaring breakdowns (carefully placed to avoid repetition; definitely a plus) totally won me over. Excited to see what's next for these guys :D
They have always had those atmospheric undertones. Its one of the reasons I've liked them so much since I first heard them. They have 3 guitarists and one of them does amazing ambient work.

Without these kinds of "no hope left" metal songs that mocks humanity and makes fun out of humanity i probably wouldn't be able to get out of bed and carry on with my life. Either way ill miss mark just because he seemed so chill and down to earth and just overall insane vocalist, but the newest one I think is pretty good. I saw him do a cover of one of aversions older songs and I think hes pretty good fit for the band I just want to see them again in a live setting to just to see if he nails all the old songs with new

Ah yes, classic aliencore, with every aspect of technical instrumentation to really funky ass lyrics, I think Aversion Crown has become one of my favorites in the genre. Right next to Rings of Saturn and A Night In Texas of course.

Holy hell this is impressive. Love those atmospheric progressive build ups scattered all over the song. Tyrant was HUGE, but if they move towards this direction, maybe they can create something even bigger.
The words and pictures in this song (epic song btw) sound like the Reapers and their motivation from the game Mass Effect.

As a huge I, Valiance and Aversions Crown fan, I'm hype on the song but understand if people think it's a little underwhelming. Personally I think the vocal mix is a tad bit on the low end which doesn't do Mark's vocals justice. I'm hoping the final recording addresses this and also makes the instruments as a whole feel a bit more "meaty." Overall the song has me hyped and I'm stoked for more new AC.
I'll leave on this note: when Make Them Suffer dropped "Let Me In" a lot of people said it felt underwhelming. "Old Souls" has proven to be a pretty solid album, though. I don't think AC will disappoint.

I have been a massive fan of AC for years now, tyrant is just an amazing album after years of hard work getting their sound. But, this, this something else. IMHO this is the greatest song they have made to date and truly gutted it did not make it to album. And i kinda wish their new stuff was more in this direction but that's just me. This song always makes me think of Aegaeon - Reshaping the Multiverse.
