You are totally spot on about Soojin who is the blonde girl she is like the devil and in the mv she seduces the other members except Miyeon because she is the god and is unfazed. In the beginning Minnie who is the girl with braids is being dragged out of heaven into a white room which represents purgatory the rapper/short hair girl is Soyeon and is also in purgatory. You see Minnie(braids) open up these curtains looking at Yuqi who is in heaven. When it yuqis verse she is admiring Miyeon(prechorusgirl) who is god and it is implied she is in love and falling into a sin and darkness.(as a catholic when we have mass we drink Jesus’s blood and eat his body which is wine and bread we do this to become closer with Jesus,god, and the holy spirit) We see Yuqi drop a cup of wine/blood which shows she is done faking and has accepted she is sinning. Later on in the mv Yuqi’s makeup gets darker and it shows she is next to leave heaven.
Soojin(blondegirl) is the devil or a demon, in one scene we see her hold an apple(Adams apple) which was the first/original sin and it is known evil things like demons and Lucifer are attractive to seduce mortals etc(angels are actually scary that’s why they tell us to not be afraid) We see some whispering between Soojin(blondegirl) and Shuhua(longdressgirl) it is like Soojin was trying to kiss her meaning Soojin was trying to seduce Shuhua who is an angel going to get corrupted by Soojin’s lust and darkness But then Soojin is now whispering to Soyeon(rapgirl) as if Soyeon took Shuhuas place and then We see Soyeon in hell (the red mud scene)
We also see Minnie(braidgirl) make a gun with her hands and kills herself. Suicide is the biggest sin after murder so Minnie ends up in hell she is the girl in the last two scenes. Additionally we can notice Minnie was “sloth” like throughout the mv we saw her crawling and it seems like she is letting her future be controlled as she lays down with the darkness take over as we can see her hands turned black.

@@sanawife.29 No that's not true. I don't know how come the rumor is so much more known. Miyeon was a trainee in YG for years, after such a long time the desire to debut was strong. But Pinkpunk (Blackpink name, before they are Blackpink) got often delayed. At some point Miyeon had enough and left YG than she took a year of before going to one of Cube Audition. Thankfully Cube were in need of a korean member for their new group, so she became an (G)I-DLE member.

I never thought I’d stan another group after BTS, but then GIDLE made their debut and now they’re my 2nd favorite group of all time. Fun fact, the leader and main rapper of the group, Soyeon, contributes so much to the writing and production of their music. This song is part of a mini album and not only did she singlehandedly write the lyrics to all the songs, but she’s the main composer for each song, too. In addition to songwriting, composing and arranging, she also choreographs! I’m not sure about the choreo for this song, but I know she choreographed the entirety of the last song they released, Lion (she also wrote and composed it entirely by herself). And she’s an amazing singer and rapper on top of that!!
Another fun fact: their company, Cube, is garbage. Cube kept delaying their debut because they were focusing on their other groups. So Soyeon said “F**k it” and wrote/composed their first mini album by herself because she got tired of waiting.
She’s literally a queen.

This song and the EP it comes in is very much focused on the figure of the woman. This song specifically talks about love, desire and reverence for a SHE (wlw win!), who seems to be divine in nature but is so desirable that induces the worshipers into falling into temptation due to their desire (reminds us of some carnal representations of religious ecstasy in art). Soojin (blonde) represents the goddess, Soyeon (rapper) and Minie (first girl to appear) represent the fallen worshipers, while Shuhua, Yuqi and Miyeon are the worshipers who haven't fallen into temptation YET, so they're pure. See the transition from Soojin kissing Shuhua's head, when Suhua finished her verse and says she fell in love, as if she accepts her and then Shuhua transforms in Soyeon.

She does so many roles apart from being the leader for the group. she sings, raps, produces, writes, concepts, choreography, etc. She also helps with the group to decide who will be suitable to the part that she wrote for them. Normally groups with that size have more than 1 rapper but Soyeon is so strong that she represents all rappers...

You should React to Soyeon’s rap compilation. According to me she’s the best female rapper in kpop along with EXID’s LE, Mamamoo’s Moonbyul, CLC’s Ye Eun and Dreamcatcher’s Dami. If you like rap you should definitely react to these girls and their groups bc they are lit !
n.1 self-sufficient girl group in the industry. they produce, compose and arrange music by themselves, especially the leader Soyeon, who produces basically 90% of what they released and produces other group's songs too. with this mini album she became the first female idol to produce an entire album without co-writers. they actually do everything by themselves and soyeon produces and composes, the girls write too.

this group's main thing is being different. the leader (Rapper, her name is Jeon Soyeon) writes all of the groups music, they have latin vibe songs (Senorita) a hip-hop song (Uh-oh) a more EDMish song (Latata) and another darker song (Hann), even a song with a royalty song concept (Lion) please check out their other music. they are so so so talented and they are one of the only girl groups in K-pop that self produce their own music. that's why they are so different from other groups.

So this is my own interpretation of the video but you can think whatever.
Soojin: Soojin was the devil disguised as a goddess. She was the main temptation for most of the girls to try and get them to go down to hell.
Minnie: I think Minnie was stuck in her own head and she couldn’t escape her thoughts. So, she ended it all by killing herself (hence the red goop that symbolises blood) and the temptation of killing herself to be at “peace” was a trap. A trap that was sent by soojin. So now she’s in the middle space to try and figure out if she was going to heaven or hell (the white room). But in the end soojin won her over and she became a devil too.
Soyeon: Soyeon is Also in the middle space (the white room) and she was also won over by soojin. The trap for her (I think) is whenever she was in the barbed wire. I think that Soyeon was just tired of being in that middle space. So, in the end I don’t think she cared where she went. Just as long as she could get out of that “personal” place. So, she was won over by soojin easily. I think that she already knew what soojin was doing (whenever soojin whispered in her ear) and so she won her over by doing that. I think Soyeon became temptation #2 once she became a devil.
Shuhua: Shuhua was an actual goddess and she was In her own little world. She was the “arrogant” one and Soojin knew that her arrogance was her weakness. So, I think that soojin promised her things or said things that boosted her arrogance. I think that Shuhua’s arrogance might have agitated soojin. But soojin knew what terrified her. She knew she didn’t want to lose everything that she had Or her power over people (the people below her in her scene) So she was sent somewhere alone and isolated in hell.
Yuqi: Yuqi was in her own limbo. She didn’t know where she was, she didn’t know how she got there. (Hence her running down a hall “searching” for something) She was just kinda there. This was soojins trap because she knew that yuqi wouldn’t have been happy there. She was alone and didn’t have anyone. So by the time that yuqi has discovered where she was it was already too late. Soojin has won and pulled her down into hell. (Her falling down into an endless black hole).
Miyeon: Miyeons trap was the same as Soyeons. Bc I think by this time soojin already knew that she had won so she didn’t even try with miyeon bc (to me) it looked like miyeon was tired of being on display for people so soojin knew that it was her weakness.
I think that the full meaning behind it is to never change yourself or your values for someone. No matter how good it may seem in the moment.
So yeah that’s my Interpretation. I know it’s not 100% correct but it’s about as correct as I could get it so it would make sense. 💜 love y’all and I just wanted y’all to know.
