  • 5 Mysterious ancient artifacts the Germans were obsessed with finding and thought could win WWII...
The Nazi Party has long been associated with the looting and hoarding of historical artifacts, pseudoscientific research, and the occult. This was especially true of Heinrich Himmler and his SS.
Himmler, who had a personal occultist, created a chapter of his elite SS known as the Ahnenerbe as a form of think tank and research unit.
One objective of the Ahnenerbe was to unearth or establish a strong historical identity of the Nazis’ predecessors through the study of archeology.
One of the most precious artifacts sought by the Nazis was the Spear of Destiny (also known as the Holy Lance or the Lance of Longinus), which is alleged to be the spear that pierced Christ's abdomen.
As a child, Hitler had seen the Spear in a museum, and he had become enamored with it, believing it to be a key to untold power. He is supposed to have later stated that the Spear of Destiny had given him a vision of the future, which had informed his own political and ideological beliefs.
One reason that high-ranking Nazis were willing to chase this artifact, besides its cultural significance, was that the Spear of Destiny is said to bestow upon its possessor magical powers, including immortality and the ability to conquer one’s enemies.
Legend has it that the first Roman Emperor, Charlemagne, had wielded the Spear of Destiny for 47 consecutive military victories and that - on the very day that he finally dropped it - he fell dead. Hitler and his officers believed that the Spear would aid them in the same way as they waged war in Europe. As part of the Imperial Regalia of the Holy Roman Emperor, Hitler also believed that possessing the spear would legitimize his right to rule in victory...

While it’s hard to say how much of the myth and legends they actually believed, it actually makes sense they’d pursue these things.
As mentioned in the video, establishing a historical link to their ideology would have had immense impact, and legitimized them in a sense

I'm of the belief that the leadership of the third reich was wishing to obtain such objects so they could use them as symbols of power, attempting to obtain more religious control over their subjects.
People hear of religious tales and tend to believe them unquestionably. And that, along with exiling or "disappearing" the doubters, helps secure control. Molding somebody's "truth" is the key to controlling them.
Right wing leaders understand this, including Adolf.

@@skipsch I think that the Nazi's "black yogi's" are a misinterpretation of the mumification that occurs in those rare yogi's who seek enlightenment and moksha by starving themselves to death. In this process the skin turns a dark discolored mess, bound tightly around the skeletal remains as the yogi lost weight. I've seen some of these mummified remains and the skin does indeed appear black.
On the other hand perhaps they were interested in the yogi's of the Himalayan mountains that practiced Bön, a pre-Buddhist religion based in large measure on Tantra, and deemed black magic by the rising popularity of Buddhists who saw it as their only rival for the hearts and minds of the people. In text after text I have read, Bön is referred to as black magic. For further information I recommend your reading both "Tibet's Great Yogi, Milarepa" by W.Y. Evans-Wentz. And "Tibetan Yoga and Secret Doctrines" also by the esteemed W. Y. Evans-Wentz. This is a very good place to start. Further study on this subject gets deep and requires some basic understanding of yoga, and personal experience with the paranormal in order to truly grasp the information given. By the way W.Y. Evans-Wentz also authored "The Tibetan Book of the Dead" and "The Tibetan Book of the Great Liberation". No library on the subject is complete without these four sacred works. Each of them come with psychological commentary by C.G. Jung. Making some of the material more easily understandable to the western mind. Other works on this subject include those on Kashmir Shaivism authored by Jaideva Singh. Who also edited and translated the material including the "Spanda-Karikas" and the "Vijnana Bhairava". Real understanding requires contemplation and meditation, there's no way around that little caveat, and for the vast majority of people, a sadguru, and such Guru's are very rare. Good luck.

Maybe now Nazi science does not sound so fringe. They had access to a realm of physics no one else had. While we were working on an atom bomb they clearly had something that was far more advanced. That begs the question…what else were the Nazis right about? World ice theory and hollow earth kind of make sense once it’s a fact that we have non human entities and advanced technology. And what about their theories on Arayanism, root races, etc, etc? I don’t think the general public is ready for the truth.

Now it’s called Indo European people or proto indo European people. It refers to people of the Eurasian continent which were the first said to have wagons, agriculture and domesticated horses. They were the first to settle down. Aryan in India means the civilised man.
That’s why the swastika represents not only the 4 seasons and the sun, but also a moving wagon wheel. That’s also the reason why the NS regime was so obsessed with farming and farming culture, like the Artamanen a group where Himmler was also a member.
