I also just started a Freedom run. A loner paid me to guide him from the Flea Market in Garbage allll the way to Dead City and he got the blown the fuck away by the merc base the *second* i completed the job, it was awesome.
I was in the swamp and I stopped to check the map in the middle of nowhere off the trails. I was in there 5 seconds when I heard a gunshot and then dropped to the floor. That was so funny some NPC killed me the way I killed so many NPCs
You're actually goated for the tutorial. You could probably create an entire video on how to setup gamma and the little tips and tricks you've picked up along the way from your time of playing it, and the video would do great imo
About the Semenov mission: you just have to kill any 5 mutants - in any area. Semenov follows you around as a companion until 5 mutants have been killed. Then he leaves and walks back to Yantar. The quest is a bit buggy in the sense that some types of mutant do not seem to count so you might have to kill more than 5 mutants in total, but the quest always eventually finishes.
I know this quest can be buggy. But as far as Im aware, it's 5 different TYPES of mutants. You can kill 50 bloodsuckers, but it will count as one TYPE. So for example, 1 zombie, 1 snork, 1 sucker, 1 flesh and 1 dog might work.
Thanks for putting out these vids Q! Currently stuck at home with the flu so this is some great entertainment. Congrats on the subs and the increase in exposure, keep it coming brother!
Great vid, always chill and relaxing. Perfect way to start (or end!) the day. Also, for the "show item stats at max condition" issue - the problem is that the character also crouches when CTRL is hit, and when that happens, the "hover over item" UI element goes away. If you hold CTRL down (don't release it), then after the character has crouched, you can hover over items and you'll see their max durability stats. NOTE: The radiation resist stat display seems to be broken when inspecting it in this way. A fully repaired item will show the proper rad resistance - but a broken one with CTRL held will show much less radiation resistance (e.g. a light overcoat will show 1%, even though it's actually 17%).
Hey, I love watching your vids. I am a shift worker and use to watch them in the back ground, but then our company put a block on mature UA-cam content, it has been removed again, so I am back watching. The one thing I like to do earlier on is get hunters back pack, better mutant parts become available, then I use old backpack for extra storage at a stash.
I ve been playing Stalker 2 lately and have been having a blast, such a good game. But damn, GAMMA truly is something else. Nothing can mach the realism and the atmosphere, I hope Grok starts working on Stalker 2 soon, can't wait to see how it turns out.
He won’t work on stalker 2 till GAMMA is done, you’re looking at least a year. Then you need to remember that it’s taken over a decade for all the mods he has in gamma to have been created, along side what he’s done for it.. TLDR it won’t ever happen for stalker 2. By the time it comes around S2 will be but a name said at passing when referring to the darker times of stalker.
Played Gamma for a while last year, but couldn't really immerse myself into it. I'm gonna give it another crack after watching this. Excited to see more!
hey man i really appreciate your vids on this, i just started playing gamma since im waiting for stalker 2 to get fixed and all of your little tips are rly nice bcuz u cant really figure it out on your own like the accidental tutorial really helps, thank you
Thanks for the tip about the font and higher resolution! Been playing for hundreds of hours (on 2560x1440) and didn't know that. Game look so much better now in proper resolution (3840x2160).
Just started my Merc playthrough and it took me 36 hrs of game time to find basic tools.. good lord it was tough. Glad to be playing the 0.9.3 update with ya!
Congrats on 20k subs. Been watching you since you had 2-3k. Best stalker creator out there, keep up the good work!!! Your videos are always a banger and gamma playthroughs have been a joy to watch. Much love homie
37:39 For the brain game mission you literally need to not headshot the controller, the ai seems to always hit head so that is proabably why it didn't complete for you. The mission will auto complete once its dead, your character will send out a message to Prof Sakharov and he then will tell you to come back to the bunker to pick up your reward
New sub as well, very satisfied with your chill videos and stalker gameplay while i wait for stalker 2 to become more enjoyable with future updates lol. Thanks for the videos keep it up!
Subscribed for more stalker content, i just started gamma for the first time after playing a bunch of EFP, having an absolute blast! You have also caused my first freedom playthrough 🔥
I have just begun again as UNISG using the 9mm AR and it's a great little gun... Also take the search missions as you they are great early game for loot and ammo etc... you had one for the scientists to go to Meadow which is a simple fetch quest and really easy to find them on the larger maps yeah it can be a bit of a pain until you learn the setups... have fun on the madness of the zone...
Love the series! Found your channel from your last episode and I've been binging your content since. I don't know if anyone else told you, but there is a mantle option in GAMMA. I don't know exactly how it works, I just mash space bar after jumping lol.
Regarding Fair Fast Travel: you can turn off the costs and other limitations in MCM--and it's worth doing that rather than disabling the entire addon. FFT also fixes a large number of issues or bugs with vanilla Anomaly's FT system, like the random trip durations that have little to do with actual distance. I'd encourage you to check out the MCM settings when you get a chance! GAMMA's default MCM settings for Fair Fast Travel are much, much more restrictive than its defaults, and every part of it can be customized to each player's liking.
I've noticed that the mutants aren't navmeshed to go past the hill in the secret entrance to yantar so you can pick them off pretty easy if they do spawn there
Since the update, you can get in to artefact crafting almost immediately, T1s and 2s come from one previous artefact and mutant parts. Since they no longer irradiate you, you aren't gated by the ability to craft LAMs/AAMs to actually use artefacts. I highly reccomend getting your basic artefacts ASAP
Best way to use the escort quests is to not turn them in. You get free companions who you can use as free, walking backpacks and they can help you save some amo in less dangerous fights. Eventually they will die, and then you have some free loot. Win win in my book.
I was worried when you didnt take a mask in army warehouses on start, but they really cranked up the rad resistance on everything, and half of the rad resist of the suit goes to your resist. Most suits themselves are giving you ~old medium mask protection, so the rads aren't totally obliterating you. Used to be if you sniffed the edge of a rad cloud in the warehouses you'd die without vodka.
I don't know much about artifact crafting in gamma, but i guess that stick to a standard artifact loadout might be doable: radiation reduction (jellyfish), health regeneration (kolobok), that's the first thing i used to prioritize
Qloud as a tip for you later on with my like 20 freedom runs I recommend settling into Yanov station because of the very high paying jobs and a large stock of good meds with the ecologist base right down the hill and if you decide to level up with skinflints trading in the warehouses there is already a guy there so you will have access to a good stock of NATO ammo and good gear
Loving your GAMMA content, have learnt a lot! Couple pf questions: Why did you set up a sleeping bag on the bed at base instead of just using the sleep location in the next house? pros? cons? and when you enabled tactical fonts i noticed you didn't disable the 1k version.. is that meant to be left on? Cheers mate!
That burner in the army warehouse thats always active in the furnace apparently can't ever hurt you. I've never tested the limits, but you can just walk into the room with no fear.
yeah but its not really stalker ,stalker 2 is stalker, gamma is not. personally tired of gamma and its chore gameplay. cant wait stalker 2 to get better and play that instead
fair warning- Don’t accept no step back from the mercs until at least advanced tools, its genuinely about 50 monolith soldiers that rush you, and you cant retreat as its “no step back”. Bring LOTS of ammo
You can build walls in your hideout, but IIRC it won't save you from Emission with "dynamic cover" mod that let you survive almost everywhere with it... Mutant parts for artifacts craft? Sounds like old ShoC mods like AMK - nice reference. Crouching blocking armor comparison might have some connection with "busyhands" bug when charging the artifacts and - shortly after - being unable to do anything until reloaded.
Question, do you have a mod/settings for gameplay list somewhere? I really like how your game runs and my fresh gamma install has a lot of stuff I’d like to change, maybe a tutorial how to get it running like yours would be cool
Unsure if they changed it in 9.3 but you should be able to use weapon cleaning kits to improve parts over 60% in guns to 100% and also improve the overall condition of the gun itself by proxy. Only just discovered this myself but I'm still on 9.1
Hey @Qloud I noticed at 14:23 your Anomaly folder says Anomaly 1.5.1.2 Did you know there is an Anomaly 1.5.3 ? They have removed the old 1.5.2 update files and 1.5.3 is now part of the standed Gamma installation. You might have already got it and just havn't changed the Anomaly folder name from 1.5.2 to 3 but thought id let you know just incase u didnt no
Loving the content so far. Getting ready to start a new run, curious if anyone has a recommendation of what faction i should run. I just did a Sin run recently
Stalker 2 is a great base that modder can use too reach the survival and fullness stalker experience. U cannot sell a game worldwide if its too complicated like the gamma way. It came out 3 weeks ago. Be patience
38:50 I dont know if you consider that cheating, its definitely not intended i think: you can take everything from your stash, then press the move all button and take back what you need. that way you can store way more than the 70 kg its able to store
No ones ever asked me that haha, I use an old steel series mousepad currently, but I actually have something coming up that involves the community if you're looking to get a new one :)
I also just started a Freedom run. A loner paid me to guide him from the Flea Market in Garbage allll the way to Dead City and he got the blown the fuck away by the merc base the *second* i completed the job, it was awesome.
That's exactly why I love GAMMA or any other "sandbox" mods for STALKER
I was in the swamp and I stopped to check the map in the middle of nowhere off the trails. I was in there 5 seconds when I heard a gunshot and then dropped to the floor.
That was so funny some NPC killed me the way I killed so many NPCs
for the armor stats just keep pressing ctrl, it shows up after 1 or 2 sec
You're actually goated for the tutorial. You could probably create an entire video on how to setup gamma and the little tips and tricks you've picked up along the way from your time of playing it, and the video would do great imo
Ecologist: *dying on the floor after getting friendly fired*
Qloud: "Shhhhhhh"

I never enjoy let’s plays but yours are actually enjoyable to watch, very chill, good immersion, nice to relax to

Stalker Gamma .Powerfull Game...The Best...I've been playing it for years and subscribed too...
New sub! You have given me a great look at the GAMMA update. Cant wait for modding to ramp up to GAMMA levels in stalker 2
psy helmet before basic tools is insane [btw you making more gamma vids is giving me to ITCH to play again. damn you
I ve been playing Stalker 2 lately and have been having a blast, such a good game. But damn, GAMMA truly is something else. Nothing can mach the realism and the atmosphere, I hope Grok starts working on Stalker 2 soon, can't wait to see how it turns out.

New SSS update in Gamma + summer grass/trees looks stellar!

Great video. New sub here, been enjoying your videos and format. the grind is the fun part lol. Thank you and looking forward to the next one
Congrats on 20k subs Qlord. let's go for 100k!
Thanks for the tip about the font and higher resolution! Been playing for hundreds of hours (on 2560x1440) and didn't know that. Game look so much better now in proper resolution (3840x2160).
always anticipating a video from you man new shaders are so good
I'm still running through Clear Sky (Using LFO)...I can't believe how quick this channel blew up. Great job, man...
Just started my Merc playthrough and it took me 36 hrs of game time to find basic tools.. good lord it was tough. Glad to be playing the 0.9.3 update with ya!
Great channel, just what I needed to get back into gamma. Looking forward to new episodes !
Bro, thank you SO MUCH for tutorial. It savedd my nerves a lot. God bless you.
shoutout for the mod changes tutorial, I had been suffering with the campfire saves only for so long
Oh my, Darkwood ambient 🤤
It’s so perfect for Stalker. Wave of nostalgia first time I heard it in Stalker
also this war of mine, honestly sometimes a little distracting as it reminds me very much of the game but does suit stalker
Congrats on 20k subs.
Been watching you since you had 2-3k.
Best stalker creator out there, keep up the good work!!!
Your videos are always a banger and gamma playthroughs have been a joy to watch.
Much love homie
37:39
For the brain game mission you literally need to not headshot the controller, the ai seems to always hit head so that is proabably why it didn't complete for you. The mission will auto complete once its dead, your character will send out a message to Prof Sakharov and he then will tell you to come back to the bunker to pick up your reward
Yo thanks for that tutorial bro, fixed all my shhh up! Cheers!
New sub as well, very satisfied with your chill videos and stalker gameplay while i wait for stalker 2 to become more enjoyable with future updates lol.
Thanks for the videos keep it up!
Last vid you had around 18k subscribers, youre getting big and i´m all for it.
Thanks to your videos I’ve been able to enjoy many hours of stalker.
Can’t wait to get done with finals and try this update out. Your vids help me through this 🙏🙏
Subscribed for more stalker content, i just started gamma for the first time after playing a bunch of EFP, having an absolute blast!
You have also caused my first freedom playthrough 🔥
Checking if poe2 is up is such a vibe that I was not expecting from you
thank you for that little mod organizer tutorial
Also for control to work for seeing max condition, you need to click control and THEN mouse over the item.
That’s the main thing I change first in the mod list is the stash weight limit. Unlimited storage just decreases the tedium massively.
Went from Stalker 2 back to gamma 0.93 and having the time of my life 🔥
That line about the POE2 servers, i felt that. Been loving the game so far.
Same!
Been waiting for this episode, thanks Qloud, I watched all your stalker vids bro
does anyone else get a theradbrad vibe from this man, better editing though lol
21:35 You passed up one of the best new pistols in the game - the USP Match "Overwatch"
yep, Grok changed it from 9x19 into 45
And it uses a 9x19 barrel
@@FelipeLeonRandom is it supposed to work like that or he ended up missing changing it?
@@inredrustivel321 I think he missed
That update tutorial is really handy!
Congrats on 20k!
I'm new in the channel, I already love the content you make
Thx for this little update tuto.
love ya Qloud, keep it up dude!

I had no idea about the 4k fonts. I’ve always wished the letters looked clearer
To think you've more than doubled since I subbed is wild.
Sun has a great bonus on clear days, can run for miles and i even tanked a headshot at 5m range thanks to a clear sunshiny day
Love the series! Found your channel from your last episode and I've been binging your content since.
I don't know if anyone else told you, but there is a mantle option in GAMMA. I don't know exactly how it works, I just mash space bar after jumping lol.
You´re funny! In my fresh start as Merc i got a PsyGiant on first day base clearing! Had to lure him to the Base.
You really need the Niko Bellic voiced actor mod lol love the content brudder
I use it, but seems the voice lines are super quiet at times. I might just have an audio issue though. One of my favorites though.
yellow cars!
something something old men something young one something war never changes something something

Lost signal quests are insane especially for starting out a new run, you'll find out 3-4 bodies with loot
Since the update, you can get in to artefact crafting almost immediately, T1s and 2s come from one previous artefact and mutant parts. Great to see a game where you can climb knee height obstacles 😶

I'll watch at work, this is fine
Sakharov looks high as a kite. Whatever artefact he's smoking, i want it

Second episode already? Im pumped.
This is miles better than Stalker 2.
The only thing I’m iffy on is the new weapon part repair mechanic.
Besides that, it has nothing to do with the original Stalker Trilogy, I have to say it's an awesome extension to the Stalker 'games' world
It looks too dated visually though
yeah but its not really stalker ,stalker 2 is stalker, gamma is not. personally tired of gamma and its chore gameplay. cant wait stalker 2 to get better and play that instead
Guns need work thats one of the biggest
If you struggle with quests you can probably do a long march to the cordon/great swamps and do more and easier quests there, idk
this guy was about to do miracle machine and didn’t even think of the pseudo giant at the end
Thank you for the video
Remember to craft and use your tools. 🎉 (when you have them)
Bell gang check 😇
Love the gameplay. I always pick UNISG or Mercs. I'm way too addicted to them to change that up.
Sees you joined Freedom, leaves - jk good video~
I LOVE YOUR SERIES !! Also how did you set your fast travel to allow travelling to the blue houses? And also making it free?
I disabled fair fast travel mod in mo2
fair warning- Don’t accept no step back from the mercs until at least advanced tools, its genuinely about 50 monolith soldiers that rush you, and you cant retreat as its “no step back”. Bring LOTS of ammo

You should try a gamma play through with the mags redux mod, it adds a tense element to some fights, especially when doing the brain scorcher.

20k - going big here :)
Just wondering what are your keybinds? This game got so many keybinds and its confusing fr

No ones ever asked me that haha, I use an old steel series mousepad currently, but I actually have something coming up that involves the community if you're looking to get a new one :)
Your goal for this playthrough should be to use the new base building to make a homestead
try to use the ,,body dots on the mini map,, addon,it helps a lot;and ,,npc stop looting bodyes,, or ,,loot claim,,
This is so much more enjoyable to watch than Stalker 2
freedom runs are always my favorite, you should do the mission where u blow up the tanks
