being generous with the defense and IQ on dubois ngl. I cant remember ever seeing dubois make adjustment, maybe i just dont watch enough of his fights, it seems like he keeps doing the same thing if it works it works but if it doesn't it doesnt. and he keeps doing it.
AJ in 4-6. If he's in form, he should be able to keep safe, work behind the jab, and pick his shots. I wouldn't mind if Dubois wins though. Both likeable. This is a great domestic scrap for the fans.
Can't wait to find out how it all unfolds, my prediction since fight announcement hasn't changed though, still got AJ by stoppage inside 1st 6 rounds, maybe Dubois shocks the world wouldn't be the 1st time in boxing and certainly wouldn't be the 1st prediction in watching boxing 40 plus years I got wrong, that's the beauty of boxing.
The issue with Dubois having a better chin is Joshua has fought the harder punchers. Wlad Whyte Povekin and Ruiz all hit harder than anyone including Hrgovic Dubois has fought
@@AGuyCalledHenry I also think Usyk put on the canvas and i am not sold his ACL actually went. But I do agree we are going to find out about his chin because he will definitely get hit if he holds AJs right hands and keeps moving forward that is a grade A chin
Before I even watch the video my prediction is it won't go past the 6th and a AJ win. I just can't for the life in me see Dubious taking the amount of head shots he took against Hrgovic with hits from AJ who punches far far harder. Great channel by the way
I'd actually pitch their previous two fights the other way round. Wallin vs Hrgovic would be a competitive fight where you can make a case for either. Both lack one punch power, both can be tricky, both have strong chins, both tire although Wallin has the better gas tank... Then I'd pitch Ngannou vs Miller, and again it's hard to say who would do better. Ngannou has a lot more punching power, which may be enough to hurt and stop Miller, whereas Miller has that pressure fighter style that's bad for Ngannou's gas tank. Could he hurt Francis though? And Miller is far more hittable than AJ or Fury so Ngannou would enjoy success. Either way I don't think there's as much between AJ and DDD's last fights as many like to make out.
@@AGuyCalledHenry well you should as its for the stamina i have a sneaky £50 on dubious to pull it off. Its his only hope a good slugfest AJ tires quick and then Dubious gets the KO.. worth the bet i reckoned..
Henry, why oh why you do perpetuate this myth that Wilder’s punch power, even his one punch power, is anything special? If Joshua, Dubois, Zhang or any of the other decent heavyweights could only throw a right hand and conditioned their fight style around lining it so that they could throw it as hard as they could, they would punch harder than Wilder. Yes Wilder knocked Fury down a number of times but these days who hasn’t! The vast majority of Wilder’s knockouts have come against the most overmatched and pedestrian of opponents. I have said going back years that Wilder would be beaten up by the first decent young heavyweight he fought. So said so done.
Agree with this. Wilder only knocked out Tin cans. As far as Fury is concerned it’s not even just these days but he got knocked down by a couple of opponents even before the Wilder fights.
Great vid. I agree with most of your points. However, I think it will be in AJ’s interests to finish earlier. I see Dubois getting stronger as the rounds tick by. I see AJ win in 5 rounds.
No aj has a top resume...ps good break down though mate ,ye I got a bit of a similar prediction erm but defo food for thought there ...Ye nice 1 for that vid cool.. 😎
Dubois is a good fighter, but I just think he's tailor made for Joshua... and from the way I've viewed AJ's recent performances regardless of the perceived level of opposition he looks like he might be coming into the form of his career - I'm also not 100% convinced that Dubois won't quit again if he's getting peppered with shots and runs out of ideas... my prediction is a mid round stoppage in favour of AJ either through a stoppage or Dubois taking the knee again.
Agreed. I think on Saturday we will see the best version of Joshua and if not THE best it will certainly be his best performance since the Povetkin fight. (I’m excluding the Ngannou performance because that was over so quick and it was Ngannou) The best performance against a proper boxer in a long time is what I’m predicting.
I'm with Dubois on this one, mostly going with my heart rather than my head but I think you've severely overrated AJ's punch resistance. He hasn't been touched on the chin proper by a puncher since the Pulev fight and he's been rocked in many fights. Dubois was shakey against Lerena sure, but since then i haven't seen him be visibly buzzed. I'm going for a 10th round TKO by Dubois. Cheers Henry
AJ wouldn't want to trade or fully brawl with a big puncher like DD. I think an upset is far more likely than people believe. I'm going with DD round 6 but most likely aj win. DD 6-9 rounds is not a bad underdog prediction I'd say.
I think AJ either knocks Daniel out within 6 rounds or he gets knocked out himself in one of the last three rounds. . My money would go on an AJ win in the first 6 rounds.
I think ngannou could beat Hrgovic and Miller on the right night. Id like to see ngannou in with dubois tbh because i think Dubois would struggle with his bad defence. That Ngannou win isn't as irrelevant as everyone pretends it is
@@AGuyCalledHenry Power and IQ. But I see his confidence and hunger being greater too. I see Daniel as being relentless and simply overwhelming AJ around 8 or 9 with a TKO..

Good point! I’m so fine with a 1-6 ko prediction as well.
wonder if Dubois is naturally left handed, some of the boxers he's sparred with say that his jab is more powerful than his rear hand
I agree, although Joshua's gas tank is nothing like Dubois and that will also play a role in my opinion, if it goes to the championship rounds.
Forgot to say, I enjoyed this format
Ever since AJ went 24 rounds with Usyk, I no longer have any doubt in his gas tank, Usyk has a more higher work rate than DD, AJ will be just fine.

89 - AJ, 75 - Dubois.
Dubois is a headbutting (and low-blowing) cheater. Simply watch his last three fights to see this.
I am 100% sure Joshua punches harder than Wilder.

Dubois is the harder puncher. It was evident in the Usyk fight. Usyk was able to withstand Joshua's body shots.
He was able to withstand Dubois’ body shots as well and then stop Dubois. Unless you’re referring to that low blow.
