What are your thoughts. Which do you think sounds better Waves or Adobe Podcast?
can you edit podcast audio only there? Like can you import wav or mp3 files only there. Might be a dumb question but I've been a podcast editor for 3 years now but haven't had the chance to edit with Premier Pro for audio-only. :)
@@maricelp116 I have imported and edited many different wav and mp3 files there, not only podcasts...
Steve, I have used Final Cut Pro for years for video and have my basic stack of Waves plug ins that I use there. I Fall back to Reaper (also, thanks for Reaper, that upgrade was from you, Audacity was trash) if I have major audio issues because my computer bogs down with FCPX if I have to clean up something particularly nasty.
I have used Photoshop for years for other projects along with various other Adobe tools and have considered Premier as the only option I would consider besides Final Cut Pro for my show. I noticed that there was some 'Boxiness" to the Premier Podcast audio on all 3, that wasn't on your edits except the last clip because of the room and the mic.
If that can be dialed in and fixed with their tool, or I can even throw my Manny Marroquin Triple D plug in over it to fix it, then I may have to convert to Premier
I still thought the plug-ins sounded slightly better.
@@maricelp116 Yes. you can edit only only and export as .wav, aiff, or mp3. What software are you using for editing?
Seems just about the same- I use Adobe Audition now, so what is the difference between AU and Adobe Premier?
Very close right!? The difference is the video editing component. Audition is for audio only.
I think the de-reverb sounded way better in the adobe AI version.
thanks for your thoughts. Are you using Adobe to edit?
@@psscreativemedia I’ve been using audacity for my podcast but I’m currently looking for a better approach. I have creative cloud so I’m going to try audition
I thought they sounded similar until the de reverb. To my ear it didn't sound as good with Premiere. It sounded better with Waves.
The workflow of premiere is just not as a DAW workflow. Feature wise it’s fantastic
To my ears Waves did much better in the second and third example. The first one was very similar.
