We enjoy your videos so much. At the beginning of this year we spent 40 days in Mexico. Started in Ajijac, then Chapala, Tequila, from there I took a cab by myself to Magdalena and was able to convince a mine owner to let me mine opals for the day. After Tequila we stayed in historic Guadalajara for a few days. Throughout our travels people kept telling us we needed to see Guanajuato, so on the day we were to come home decided to extend our trip. My husband hired a young driver to take us all the way. Guanajuato is spectacular. Everyone should watch your video about it. I could go on and on about that trip. But we are booked for a second trip. We have one way tickets leaving the U.S. December 29. We will be in no hurry to rush home as we already have snow at our house and by then we could have snow up to the rafters. The first part of our trip is planned and booked. First stop is Mazatlan for New Years (5 days), then Ajijic (7 days), Guadalajara (7 days), Fly to Mexico City (+/- 14 days). From there ????? We were thinking perhaps Oaxaca and then from there fly to somewhere in the Yucatan. Then spend a month making our way down to Belize. If you have the time, I'd love to know where you would go back to if you were taking our path. Also I would love to surprise my sweet husband with an adventure or 2 or 3 along the way... Any ideas? Bienvenidos a mi ciudad talvez no es una ciudad colonial como Zacatecas, Morelia o Guanajuato pero mi ciudad tiene su encanto. Espero que se la pasen muy bien.
I stayed for 7 days this past summer, and food is one of the main reasons i want to return. although i was very pleased with what great places i did find and want to return, i suspect that there are more great food places that the locals know but the internet sites have not caught up to yet
@@tonyabeeson3995 my mexican friend now living in u.s. visited his wife's aunt in AGU, and he did not like AGU. but i disagreed with him. i think his standards are too high because he knows so much about mexico and maybe become a little snobby now that he's experienced success in u.s.. for an american like me, looking for a inexpensive, non-touristy, safe, clean place to disappear into mexican surroundings and escape u.s., i've liked this place better than QRO. and other options in mexico have too many americans or are not safe or clean enough for me. AGU is not glamorous or as dense of colonial district as more touristy ex pat mexico destinations, but i'm ok with that. it is one of the fastest growing economies in mexico, because foriegn businesses see what i see and don't need ex pat tourism or glamour. i also like because short, direct flight from texas so easy to get in and out without hassle
i was very empressed with jesus contreras bronze scupltures. Looked like european quality to me. very impressive inventory of his work in his little plaza next to theatre. would like to see more of his work and think i read it is all over mexico city
I live in aguascalientes and I think your video is really great, there are more places to visit but you are showing the exactly places that represent Aguascalientes I love your video and make me to appreciate more the place were I live
José Guadalupe Posada is the most important mexican artist of modern times: he gave to Rivera, Khalo, Orozco, Siqueiros and many others, the ground to understand the ‘mexican symbolism’, syncretism and our idiosyncrasies. It didn’t make the fuss of Frida, Rivera, but Posada is The Guy to understand the graphical culture of Mexico: every Día de Muertos’s t-shirt, postal card, ‘Papel Picado’ scene, political cartoon is a voluntary or not tribute to Posadas The Genius.
thanks for sharing that insight. i walked thru museum but got tired of translating the entire history of his work. but the amount detail about his work in the museum is understandable given your placing him in context of other artists. Frankly, i also loved the bronze sculptures of jesus contreras all over AGU and i loved the paintings of Saturnino Herran at Museo de AGU
@@gametime-bw3zk let’s ask to this museum guys to put informative information in Spanish too. Saturnino was an important creator but in a minor importance, even his portentous talent and technique.
Thanks for your beautiful video about my city, my son really loved the trains at La Estacion with the little train too and at the Plaza Patria the big column with the eagle on the top represents the center of Mexican Republic 😀 I'm so you guys did this amazing and short video
That train museum must be one of the best ones in Mexico for train nerds. Let's hope Mexico will invest on a high speed rail network -- some time later this century.
visited AGU for 7 days this past summer since short direct flights from Texas. my favorite restaurant was El Atrio: authentic and recently relocated to AGU from SLP. I also liked Mesquite at the hot springs. Both were expensive by Mexico standards, but not bad by U.S. prices. My favorite bfast spot La Mestiza Yucatana that shown in video. Finally, someone who will serve me authentic chilaquiles, not a version for tourists. In general, i thought the food was better than most touristy parts of Mexico, and cheaper than QRO or other ex pat destinations since this is not a U.S. tourist hot spot so caters more to Mexican clientele, which I really prefer if I'm leaving the U.S.
Great coverage would like to see you guys got during San Marcos I try and go every year, the train museum is also nice and beautiful great spot to run when I go visit

Thank you!
We have traveled in every state of mexico..aguacalientes city is DEFINITELY in the top 10.
Hot springs and cheap food w housing....pure mexico love
Wow 🤩 nice!
And I love the feel of the neighborhood.
Oh so did we!
I think i liked the triana neighborhood park best because it is more under the radar than other yet very pleasant and echoes of colonial europe
I miss your Mexico travel vlogs so much! I am so happy to have found an episode I haven't seen yet. Aguas Cal looks amazing. I gotta go there now!
Nice! Mexico is amazing! We miss it too but are having fun experiencing the world 🌍 even more!

Gracias!
Such a beautiful city.......the food looked amazing
I stayed for 7 days this past summer, and food is one of the main reasons i want to return. although i was very pleased with what great places i did find and want to return, i suspect that there are more great food places that the locals know but the internet sites have not caught up to yet
Hey Tonya! It was!
Yes that is true.
@game time so awesome....my husband family is originally from Aquascallentes. So he's dieing to visit there at some point
Yo soy de Aguascalientes...cuando regresen, aquí tienen a un amigo para llevarlos a sus municipios que también están súper hermosos 🇲🇽🇲🇽✍️✍️✍️🙋🙋

What a cool railway station
When train travel used to be a lot more popular.
Very impressive sculptures
I believe he passed at a young age of like 36 too. He accomplished so much very young.
@@TheCountryCollectors that’s so sad
i was very empressed with jesus contreras bronze scupltures. Looked like european quality to me. very impressive inventory of his work in his little plaza next to theatre. would like to see more of his work and think i read it is all over mexico city
great work, your videos are top notch!
Thank you
I live in aguascalientes and I think your video is really great, there are more places to visit but you are showing the exactly places that represent Aguascalientes I love your video and make me to appreciate more the place were I live
Aww thank you Daniel!
I like how you don't shy away from talking about controversial subjects because it is just a fact of the culture and tradition there like you said.
Exactly.
You guys are the best part of my Sunday morning! I’m curious. Sometimes you use local guides and sometimes not. When do you choose to use a guide?
Hi! We use a guide when it’s needed. More so just in places you have to have a guide or where they can offer us a lot of great info.
@@TheCountryCollectors thank you!

Thank you for sharing this so we can all learn some more about him.
@@TheCountryCollectors 💀
thanks for sharing that insight. i walked thru museum but got tired of translating the entire history of his work. but the amount detail about his work in the museum is understandable given your placing him in context of other artists.
You guys really rock, i am super jealous. Sometimes i don't watch your videos so that i don't get jealous. So nicely narrated and covered everything.
Hey! Thank you 🙏 we appreciate it. We hope you feel like you’re here with us!

Thanks for your beautiful video about my city, my son really loved the trains at La Estacion with the little train too and at the Plaza Patria the big column with the eagle on the top represents the center of Mexican Republic 😀 I'm so you guys did this amazing and short video

Hey guys! I really love this well done documentary. Thxs for visiting Aguascalientes. La tierra de la gente buena!
Thank you for your kind comment!
Love u guys 🥰🇺🇸🇲🇽
Love you too
That train museum must be one of the best ones in Mexico for train nerds. Let's hope Mexico will invest on a high speed rail network -- some time later this century.
That would be great!

It's impossible to watch your videos and not want to visit these towns. Thank you for all the details you provide us!
Hi Michael! That makes us happy to hear!
visited AGU for 7 days this past summer since short direct flights from Texas. my favorite restaurant was El Atrio: authentic and recently relocated to AGU from SLP.
Thanks for sharing this!
Great coverage would like to see you guys got during San Marcos I try and go every year, the train museum is also nice and beautiful great spot to run when I go visit
Thanks for the great suggestion! I'll be sure to check out the train museum next time I visit.
