    This video shows different species of birds in their natural habbitat in Iceland. Beautiful and clean Icelandic landscape, lots of food and peace attracts thousants of birds every year, Most of the come just for the spring and summer to breed. Some, like Rock Ptarmigan stay the whole year round. You can see here: Dunlin, Rock Ptarmigan, Black-tailed godwit, Golden plover, Arctic tern, Red-throated diver, Common ringed plover, Red-necked phalarope, Whimbrel, Arctic Skua.

      thank you :) I spent many days during Spring in Iceland. It was a great time. So many different birds, fresh and clean nature. I also can't wait to come back :)

    The rock ptarmigen, the second one in the series sort of resembles a quayle in shape and form, though a bit different. It would be interesting to see if there was a correlation somewhere.

    Great video! Did you used hides and how long was your trip?

      Thank you :) The best period for birds in Iceland is May - July. I was there last year in the Spring for about 1,5 months. Best for travel and photography is camper. It gives you freedom. You do not need hides in Iceland. Birds are noy shy there. Iceland is amazing land.

      @@MarekJackowskiPhotographer thank you,great to hear that. I love to photograph all Charadriiformes, so I guess Iceland will be my next goal. I suppose 1.5 month was quite nice time to get custom with placese where they live:)
