If you're only changing the lock actuator, there is no need to remove the regulator or even the glass guide. With the window up there is enough room. Just did this job last night.
This video is spot on. Perfect step by step that saved me $1000+. Bought the actuators on Amazon for less than $100 (both front locks were out) and my son and I had it done in half a day. Perfect father/son project and it gives us peace of mind before he takes the car to college in a couple of weeks. If you don’t have trim removal tools, Autozone sells a set for about $20. They were very handy to have. I used another one of your videos to replace a broken door handle on the same 2013 Camry and used a plastic scraper. The trim removal tools make it so much easier.
Video is great. I fixed my driver side door in my 2013 camry with aisin part. I had window rolled up. I did not have to unhook window. I did loosen window guide rail system. Hardest part is putting the door panel back on. Replaced back left passenger actuator last year.
My front door handle cable came loose from the actuator and is just hanging. Is there a way to get it back in its place without taking out the whole thing?
You made it seem way more complicated with removing the window the parts, why not just start with the window in the up position and just get to the actuator. And I found it unnecessary to fully remove the plastic water shield there is enough room to work with it just half way down.

I did it following your instructions and worked perfectly except for the windows that in my case there was not need!

I appreciate your video but you seem to be making it a lot more complicated than other video's I have watched. Thank You.
So much thanks, very explainned
Very great and thorough explanation. Going to handle this on my son’s Camry.
Thanks again and I’m going to subscribe.

Excellent video, tutorial. Best I've seen
Thanks! Worked for me

I take this back , this is perfect for changing the driver side door. It is a lot more complicated than the passenger side door.
Good video but as others mentioned you're doing extra steps that aren't needed. If all the tools are laid out this is a 1hr job tops.
I replaced my actuator, but now my door lock fuse keeps blowing 😢
You did way too much to do that job
