Looking forward to following the build. I've also been looking at this frame. It's going to be really interesting to see the process you go through to get this road legal.
Hi mate, looking good 👍 I'm just sorting my own conversion but I'm having trouble with my battery pack, due to budget issues im using a 20ah 14s pack with recycled 18650 cells, really like the look of those cells you have used 👍 what are they again? The size and shape looks a lot easier to use! Cheers Dave
Hey, they are called EIG cells. Very easy to find on eBay at the moment for roughly £13 a cell. I was initially going to build my own battery pack with 18650 cells but it was a lot simpler and safer to use EIG instead. For the size, they literally fit inside the frame with about 1mm of space on each side.
