LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL
Lmfaooo savage when he literally is like my opponent played too fast this game 10 seconds later
If only his opponent saw it

Ouch LOL. 🤓

This is the real Gotham Chess...
The same Gotham that got me into chess, glad the old type of vids are returning.
Bro is at his best when he is teaching, I’m here for it

You said it
Perfer this 100x more than magnus and chess championship stuff ngl
yes i love it

Hi, I was the 2000 rated player in the video. Likely a result of nerves, but I was so pessimistic of my position after 6...Nc6 that I had convinced myself that I had lost the pawn despite there being obvious moves like d5 and Be2 to save it. And then as soon as I played Nxe4 I realised the trap... it's crazy how much your psychological state affects how you play.
you played well
So true, you literally become blind to stuff, that's why you have to train objectivity and method
Did you regret the grinding you did to get to 2000?
I am 1500 and I have to make a decision brother.
You are right, i've played in turnament and i was winning but then i got so nervous i blundered simple back rank mate (im 1200)
Tbf playing Gotham and knowing thousands of people will watch the game would've probably wrecked my nerves too. Besides that you played a good game anyway :) (coming from a 850 so I'm not sure how valid my estimation is lol)
Levy: I'm gonna play a dutch lenningrad
Also Levy: I don't know what I'm doing I'm 800
Also Levy: I’m going to play like a 1000.
Then plays 10 moves of caro theory(fantasy variation) followed by a rook sacrifice
I mean, his opponent could have trapped his queen in the lenningrad game, as levi blundered when taking the pawn 6:08(Rook to b3)
@@ThaChildishOne That rook sac is so easy to see
tbh as an 1150 I was thinking gotham should've just played the first rook sac. Would be a good lesson as well@@itsoknotobeok9669
@@itsoknotobeok9669fr. im a 900 elo player and i still found it in 5 seconds.
This is legitimately the best and most informative video series that Levy does. I love these a lot, I think it's such an educational way of watching chess.
No Joke Iv been watching this specific series for months now as a sleep aid, like every single episode multiple times now. something about the slower pace, relaxed teaching and constantly changing things to focus on, helps me drift off to sleep so perfectly.
You aren't the only one, my friend.
Same here lol, idk what it is but when I wanna go to sleep I just put on one of his vids and am asleep in like under 10 minutes haha. If I have a uninteresting video on, then I just don't even pay attention to it and end up thinking about other things, which keeps me awake ... And other kinds of videos may be really interesting and deep but they require full attention to understand properly, other kins of videos are like funny, crazy, chaotic, and none of them really help to sleep. But somehow these ones are like the perfect thing for it
@@louiserocks1 haha yeah. also the rating disparity sorta adds this extra level of comfort. like I ain't feeling any stress that he'll lose and it puts me even more at ease.
I thought I was the only one lol, I've watched every video over a dozen times now
This is the content we actually want
💯
YES
thats the nut we nedd
1 and a half hours is magical
Yep this made my day
Honestly this was the series that got me watching this channel back when. Great stuff
These videos are the reason I started watching Gotham in the first place.... Glad you are bringing them back!!
Legit this is my favorite. Between the chill nature of it and being instructive, please keep this going!
This series is the best thing to happen to chess
this is the best series. period. can learn loads and love to know how your train of thought works Levy. keep this series active please.
Missed this Series, it helped me a lot when I was starting out in chess...Thans, Levy...
me elo
Beautiful
Me big elo
And he sacrificed my time.🗿
I was _just_ beginning to watch the series from the first episode while using it for study, and had few minutes ago finished the first video. Thank you for the blessing
I'm so glad you brought this series back! No one explains their ideas and plans better than you do and your videos are the main reason I've improved a lot at chess since I started a year and a half ago. Thank you
Oh, yes. Thanks so much levi. Once I just had autoplay on and it got me to your channel, bringing me into the world off chess for the first time. It brought me more places to get banned (im fr, but not for cheating), a nice community, and into a great and strategic game. In about 3 months of grinding and watching hundreds of hours of your channel a week for those months, I reached about 1500. I took a break and casually went down to 1200... then deleted account like 50 times but we don't talk about that. Anyways, thanks for the "old times" as one of the first vid I ever watched from you was one from these series
Glad the series is back. Looking forward to seeing more!
Awesome to see this series come back. It's how I was introduced to your youtube channel and it really helped in my chess development. Thank you Levy!
One of my all time favorite series that Levy puts out! Keep up the grind! Great work
Excited to see another installment! Been re-watching old episodes to scratch that itch man. Good stuff
Bring us more of this Levy! I’m a longterm subscriber, this content is what made me fall in love with your channel! But now, it’s even more evolved compared to the original! Good job!
I found these videos very instructive! Thank you Levy!
Every like l drink 30 beers and coke
You're not talking about Coca Cola are you
Been watching for years and besides some of the exciting tournaments, these “how to win at chess” videos are my favorite.
Hoping for more and grateful for the series 🙏
bro is so majestic when he plays lower elo. He makes me feel like I could do the same but then I remember he is more than double my elo.
Nah bro u got it on locks for sure 🔒 💪 💯
When Levy changes his favourite opening from Caro-Kann to Scandinavian, you know time's flying and you're old
This was a great video, entertaining as usual but even more instructive. I initially avoided it because I saw how long it was, but it is well worth it. Already looking forward to the next one next Sunday. Thank you Levy!
I much prefer these instructional type videos as opposed to “Magnus did …”
So good to see the instructive videos back, these are my favourite types of video.
Started playing chess around last Xmas. Decided to buy your book a few days ago and really enjoy learning basic stuff and also being able to practice my new knowledge on Chessly thru all those nice drills you made. Kudos !
One of the best Video from u! Very interessting, respectful and informativ - thanks levy!
I practice these positions with the board in front of me, like really learning the concepts.
This series is gold and I am super happy it's back. 🎉🎉
Love your videos. I've been watching your older videos of this same series you did 2 years ago. Great entertainment and training. Thank you.
Yes! Another win at chess episode!
Please keep the entertaining and informative videos coming! ❤
This is the series i started with Levy 3 years ago. Glad to see it back
levy that was just lovely pls do more of these videos no matter how long it is we all will watch it to the end cuz it is very instructive
Really been looking forward to this type of content again, love it!!
Hi Levy. Just want to say that I think these videos are the most instructive that you do. The 10 minute time control gives you plenty of time to talk about your thought process for each move, and I learn a lot from seeing the underlying mechanics going on.
Levy missed rb3 losing the queen in the first game
Look, he just didn’t like it
@@Fishy_17he didnt like keeping his queen?

One of the best and most instructive series, glad to see it come back.
This series is how I first found your channel. Very glad it’s back ❤
So glad the series is back! And I appreciate you avoiding the engine-esque moves at the lower ratings similar to your Steps series!
i was rewatching the series those couple of days very glad you dropped a new episode
There is so much dedications to these videos. Imagine having to sit talking for an hour and twenty minutes straight, while talking up strategies with no edit skips. Just really surprised, and honestly, you deserve a hand, bro.
Yeah im not reading allat.
I’m happy for you tho.
Or sorry that happened
After watching this video, i lost three games in a row!!!
😂
Love the format. Thanks for giving us a video per day ❤
I love this series. Please continue making such informative videos.
Love educational content. You're a great teacher
I love your videos Gotham!
I would juste love them even more with time stamps (like Eric Rosen does)
Keep it up!
Please continue to make more of these. Thanks and keep up the good work!
Great stuff. Looking forward to the continuation of this series.
Thank you for bringing it back. This is so instructive
this is one of the best youtube series ever ty for finally making it brotha
I discovered the series yesterday, loved it
Amazingly helpful video Levy. Thanks, and nice playing!
Levy, your videos are amazing, so instructive. More instructive than my lessons with a GM. Thank you!
This is the best series you do. Instructive, not making fun of anyone. This has helped my chess so much!
This was so Informative Thanks Levy.
Thank you for everything Levy, I clawed my way up from 320 elo to over 900 in rapid and 800 in each variant (Rapid/Blitz/Bullet)
You don't understand how much i loved this series i used to watch the series before I went to sleep. Thank you so much for bringing this series back Levy 🙏
I love the return of educational series, thank you so much!
This is my favorite series PLEASE DO MORE OF THESE!!!
LOVE!!! And waited on this series’ return
Hey levy, this is by far your best content, I bought your book because of it and will probably get your courses in the future. Take care
I just ordered your book, Thanks for the free content ! Wish you the best
finally my favourite series is back in the good old format! keep it up!
i'm so glad this series is continuing
Dude !! Thankyou for daily content, literally my nightly send off 👊
It really is fascinating watching someone at your level playing and commenting. It's like a form of art.
I know it’s not practical, but I’d love to be able to hear the opponents thought process during the game too. Obviously it’s very informative when Levy explains the positions, but it would be fascinating to see if lower rated players see any of the moves/tactics that he explains and what their ideas are.
This is greate! Love this series!
Keep this series coming. It’s your best one!
this is the best freaking series
Thank you for this content. Watched it in 3x, but watched the whole thing. Looking forward to new episodes.
Thanks to you and your book I picked up chess just after Christmas after about 29 years and have gone from wood to #1 in elite going into champion! You’re a legend Levy!
Levy, your work ethic is genuinly impressive. Your voice is clearly tired yet you continue to bring exceptional content every day, even doing a long video. Keep up the great work and I hope you feel better soon.
Love this, please keep it coming. This type of instruction doubled my ELO a while back. Let’s see if it can do it again.

Thank you, absolutely Love your content
Love the educational content. I understand that the meme type and drama content gets more clicks but you’re honestly one of the best chess educators on this platform
I missed this series! Love to see it back ❤
I love this. Great material.
Thanks for bringing this back
Been praying for a return of win at chess. thank you chessus
finally been waiting forever, dont know how many times ive rewatched this series! thanks gotham!
I know these videos probably don't get a ton of views, but I love these videos so much. Thank you for still doing high-effort stuff like this occasionally.
So glad the series is back!
These are always the best and are extremely helpful
Finally I've been rewatching these so much
The title now is "How to win at chess!!!"
There are 7 exclamation marks, not 3.

Umm actually. it is "!!!!!!!" which is 7 exclamations if my hypothecas is correct
