Navmesh is great but you may need to use a combination, e.g. Navmesh enabled routes through an urban environment up to say a hedge and then a non navmesh route to go through the hedge. If you used all navmeshed routes, your vehicle will go around the hedge - which may not be the outcome you want.
Note that paths in SB Pro allow the combination of different routing methods from one route node to the next. So you can use Alt+Click, Ctrl+Click, Click, Click, Right-click to create a route that goes straight, follows road, then navigates offroad before arriving at the final waypoint/next battleposition.
It's an _example_. Normally you set a route by several left-clicks and finally a right-click to complete it. Each of these left-clicks while setting route nodes manually may be modified by holding the Shift or the Alt key (and, in fact, also the Ctrl key when setting up a task force convoy). I hope this explanation helps to unboggle the mind.
@@eSimGamesDtl that's the conclusion i came as well after quite bit of testing. I mean that. Alt is modifier for not using navmesh as described on video. And that shift is modifier that makes path to stick to road. And CTRL basically at any point of clicking seems to make route a task force column. Just as you wrote. However what boggled my mind was that i got expression that one could change between task force column and regular spread out task force multiple times. for example to funnel force trough a narrow cap and then to spread out again. It seems not to be possible. Also i am little taken back that one cannot continue or make taskforce route from a waypoint.
Very helpful. Thanks.

@@eSimGamesDtl Umm.. "Alt+Click, Ctrl+Click, Click, Click, Right-click" Click click on middle? Sorry.. this is mind boggling
