This is a brilliant piece of psychological management. The buzz that these players get from a well organised meet and greet is amazing because a deeper warmth and bond towards the fans develops. Psychology 101 x

Total respect to the players for doing this. To stay behind and meet the rest of the people in the shop was a really kind thing to do. I hope the club does this again and gets more players to meet the fans. What's more the players actually had smiles on their faces and seemed to be really enjoying themselves. I've often felt, especially in the Premier League, that there's a disconnection between players and fans. Not at Newcastle, not anymore. All clubs should do things like this.
