My blindsided break up has caused my anxiety to spike up bad again. Didn't see it coming at all. She said I was great guy and very respectful but wasn't the right fit generic breakup text.
I think the problem is regardless if you didn’t know, you did know, they’re avoidant, or you are, the blindsided trauma is real and is honestly the most traumatic experience I have ever had in my life. It doesn’t matter what the reason is, being blindsided is unbelievably painful. So if I knew does that make it any different if I felt completely blindsided?
I'm so sorry that you're going through this. And you're right: whether or not you had ZERO idea that it was coming down the pipeline, or if you were intuiting it before it happened, it's still incredibly traumatic. Especially if it's basically your nightmare scenario, and you feel helpless to prevent it. Thank you for your video, it really helps put into words my experience. But what if i trusted my feeling that something was amiss and i asked lovingly my partner to talk to me, just to gaslight me and call me insecure? What if i trusted completely that he would talk to me when he was ready, and completely devastated me when he just announced that he wanted to breakup? He told me a couple months before that he wanted for us yo get married in the bext couple of years, after being together for 3,5 years, friends for 7 and living together. What am I supposed to do with that? He is also a therapist and in therapy for 7+ years and still, he wasn't trustworthy after all. How do i trust someone again?
What an awful situation. I'm so sorry your ex partner didn't communicate with you in the way you deserved. It makes sense that you're questioning how you'll ever be able to trust again. I recommend that you shift your focus away from trusting others for now, and back to rebuilding trust in yourself. You have good judgment and clearly you have good instincts - you knew something was off. You can trust yourself to build a healthier dynamic in your next relationship. xoxo
My ex lost his job and we broke up because he was ignoring me and not calling me back. He came back three weeks later after he found a new job. Talked for a hour and a half got back together and everything was great! He came to see me and we had a wonderful weekend. Talked for another week and he ghosted me 7 weeks ago! I'm so heartbroken!! I don't have any answers so I called him a week ago he didn't answer and has never called me back. Probably won't hear from him again but I don't know how he can sleep at night and not reach out!! I hope he misses me and is miserable!!!
I'm sorry. My ex broke up with me over a text message a month ago a few days before my birthday. She tried to bredcrum about two weeks later I even sent her some flowers to get back together but that same day she ignored my text and call. She sent me text saying I'm sorry we are done don't ever contact me again.
