2016 was a fantastic year meeting all kinds of people from various warps of life choosing to take their PADI Instructor Development Course (IDC) with Holly.
The Program is entirely conducted by Holly who has wealth of diving industry experience spanning over 20 years in a variety of different world wide locations including Honduras, Thailand, Australia, UK, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia & Singapore. As of today Holly has issued approximately 3500 Instructor level certifications via the PADI IDC Gili Islands Program alone & received the Platinum PADI Award and Elite 300 Recognition 8 years running.
The Gili Islands are a great place to start out as it does get extremely busy and therefore new instructors will gain great experience taking part in team teaching and there are plenty of job opportunities available to new instructors. The program is generally designed to develop students to a level way beyond that generally seen within the recreational diving industry and includes a number of additional components designed to improve knowledge, skills and general confidence to go on and develop rewarding and satisfying careers as scuba diving instructors.
The program takes place at the first PADI 5 Star IDC Career Development Center (CDC) to be established in the Gili Islands and Lombok region. Today the dive center remains the only PADI Star IDC CDC Center in Gili Trawangan and offers world class training facilities for both student and instructor level training programs.
