Before everyone rails on this band, remember this is a damn tough song to cover. If you can do it and make it sound even halfway acceptable, you did a good job. For a lounge band, this is a noble enough effort. Good job guys.
Well I guess your right,I love the song so much. She wrecked it but still gets 5stars for not eating doughnuts and pasta. And her body is starting to quiver oh baby.....
Well also they are artists with unique styles, and honestly I would rather hear a group put a different spin on a classic than just try to blindly imitate it like it’s some sort of holy text that requires exact recital. I agree that they didn’t do a whole lot new, but they did do enough to make it a different experience than the original. Also they’re like still barely adults, so it’s not like they’re gonna be doing anything completley insane.
@@bs.music.kyi9 I appreciated the initial comment very much, as well as, the rest. To this one here I'd like to add.. I personally attribute a highly spiritual value to some of their lyrics (and some other rock & rolls bands/songs).. almost as if they went on a stairway.. to heaven.. and that experience explains their nature. "Cuz you know sometimes words can have two meanings?" For instance, Fools in the Rain.. can you imagine if the girl he's talking about is someone he met 'on the other side' --> Light of the love that I found.. Generally, the song starts with a description of this lady (who is the one with shining-eyes? search) and flows through stages of not being able to see her anymore. I could go on and on, breaking it down, providing little examples, however, I'm going to leave it at this, and surely I'm open to questions.
It's such a complex song, it's daring to even do because of its unique drum & vocals. They have done really well considering how difficult this song is.
I have to give her credit for realizing she should stay in her vocal range and letting the high notes alone rather than hitting and missing. Excellent band.
[Verse 1] Well. there's a light in your eye that keeps shining Like a star that can't wait for the night I hate to think I've been blinded, baby Why can't I see you tonight? And the warmth of your smile starts a-burning And the thrill of your touch gives me fright And I'm shaking so much, really yearning Why don't you show up, make it all right? Yeah, it's all right [Verse 2] And if you promised you'd love so completely And you said you would always be true You swore that you never would leave me, baby What ever happened to you? And you thought it was only in movies As you wish all your dreams would come true It ain’t the first time believe me, baby I'm standing here feeling blue Yeah I'm blue [Verse 3] Now I will stand in the rain on the corner I'll watch the people go shuffling downtown Another ten minutes no longer And then I'm turning around The clock on the wall's moving slower My heart it sinks to the ground And the storm that I thought would blow over Clouds the light of the love that I found Light of the love that I found Light of the love that I found Oh, that I found [Bridge] Hey, babe! Ooh! Hands on the clock Just don’t seem to stop when I’m thinking it over Ooh! Tired of the light I just don’t seem to find Gotta get away, get away Ooh! I see it in my dreams But I just don’t seem to be I’ve got to get all, gotta get it all Gotta get it all, I’ve got to get it all [Verse 4] Now my body is starting to quiver And the palms of my hands getting wet I've got no reason to doubt you, baby It's all a terrible mess And I'll run in the rain till I'm breathless When I'm breathless I'll run till I drop, hey The thoughts of a fool's kind of careless I'm just a fool waiting on the wrong block, oh yeah [Outro] Light of the love that I found Light of the love that I found Light of the love that I Light of the love that I found Light of the, hey, eh, light of the, hey, eh Light of the love that I found Light of the love that I found
They didn't butcher it, and besides this not an easy song for five people to cover and sync on time. I think they did good, and the fact that they are young and have years and years of development in they're own musical lives
I'm going to give them an a+. Brings me back to jr high and hs, 65-67. Most of us had a rock ban once upon a time. I like her voice, it has soul. Hope, if she gets into the music business, she can keep clean.
Yes, of course something is missing. They aren't the actual band- one of the greatest bands ever, performing it. It is also a difficult song to cover. They did a good job here. Also keep in mind (and I'm a huge Zep fan) that Led Zep weren't always the greatest at performing their own tunes when they were drunk and stoned out of their minds. They were great when they were on, but too frequently in the later days they were off.

I concur. Especially the vocals, it sounds so easy when Robert Plant does them but they are any thing than easy.
Well I guess your right,I love the song so much.

ibuprofenPill I thought she did a damn good job

That girl channeled Plant’s attitude perfectly. I think she gets it. Old soul.
It's such a complex song, it's daring to even do because of its unique drum & vocals. They have done really well considering how difficult this song is.
I think the drums need to be louder, it's the main thing I hear when I think of this song
John Bonham is/was Led Zeppelin
agree
Im gonna give props to the drummer. Idk how he tunes everyone else out to keep both of those rhythms going.
But I mean he's not even doing the shuffle right... Whatever, good attempt guys! still sounds good...
Perhaps the best led zeppelin song, so not strange not many covers. Zep hit the peak with this song.
Wonderful to see the embers still glowing ...
Awesome guys good to see bands playing Zeppelin stuff. Never mind the negative attitudes just keep cranking out good music.
so effing fine
Bravo...I can sit there and have a few drinks listening to a good band play music the way it’s supposed to sang and played
A good few drinks needed id say
Wow they crushed this. Well done
We need the whistle!!!!
I have to give her credit for realizing she should stay in her vocal range and letting the high notes alone rather than hitting and missing. Excellent band.
Hard jam to cover respectable. I like em. But absolutely love this song. And they didn't butcher it. Kudos.
[Verse 1]
Well. there's a light in your eye that keeps shining
Like a star that can't wait for the night
I hate to think I've been blinded, baby
Why can't I see you tonight?
And the warmth of your smile starts a-burning
And the thrill of your touch gives me fright
And I'm shaking so much, really yearning
Why don't you show up, make it all right?
Yeah, it's all right
[Verse 2]
And if you promised you'd love so completely
And you said you would always be true
You swore that you never would leave me, baby
What ever happened to you?
And you thought it was only in movies
As you wish all your dreams would come true
It ain’t the first time believe me, baby
I'm standing here feeling blue
Yeah I'm blue
[Verse 3]
Now I will stand in the rain on the corner
I'll watch the people go shuffling downtown
Another ten minutes no longer
And then I'm turning around
The clock on the wall's moving slower
My heart it sinks to the ground
And the storm that I thought would blow over
Clouds the light of the love that I found
Light of the love that I found
Light of the love that I found
Oh, that I found
[Bridge]
Hey, babe!
Ooh! Hands on the clock
Just don’t seem to stop when I’m thinking it over
Ooh! Tired of the light
I just don’t seem to find
Gotta get away, get away
Ooh! I see it in my dreams
But I just don’t seem to be
I’ve got to get all, gotta get it all
Gotta get it all, I’ve got to get it all
[Verse 4]
Now my body is starting to quiver
And the palms of my hands getting wet
I've got no reason to doubt you, baby
It's all a terrible mess
And I'll run in the rain till I'm breathless
When I'm breathless I'll run till I drop, hey
The thoughts of a fool's kind of careless
I'm just a fool waiting on the wrong block, oh yeah
[Outro]
Light of the love that I found
Light of the love that I found
Light of the love that I
Light of the love that I found
Light of the, hey, eh, light of the, hey, eh
Light of the love that I found
Light of the love that I found
she awesome

They're tight!

Good effort. Very hard song to cover.
Well done lassie. Not quite Robert but its such an invredible song even a butchered version sounds good

This was cool lol
A+
It’s almost a good cover but it feels like something’s missing.
off course

Some small flaws, but overall pretty good cover. Everyone does well..
all tech no soul
Are you gay? She's a babe!
My band and I got a cover of this song if y’all want to check it out
Robot - fool in the rain
Bass is too fucking loud
She’s an eleven already at a seven
not bad.
No thank-you
What in the deaf tone hell is happening here!!!🙉👎
Wrong key. Yuk
Wrong? Shows how much you know. They probably did that for the singer.
I think she just hits a lot of flat notes.
wtf?
