Phoebe Korugyendo's Passionate Heart Story

Phoebe Korugeyendo, married at 20 to Mpirwe Jackson, Phoebe and her husband built a family, welcoming seven children. Tragedy struck twice, taking the lives of their two youngest, and later Phoebe's husband passed away at 50, leaving her to care for five children and three grandchildren. With no land and limited means, Phoebe faced overwhelming challenges.
In her time of need, Passionate Hearts Ministries stepped in, providing essential support through their food distribution program. Beyond just food, Passionate Hearts Ministries recognized the importance of education in breaking the cycle of poverty and supported Phoebe's children, enabling two of them to return to school.
