Gretchen here's how i found you, i was at a shit job in 2013, unbeknowst to me at the time, that was among the causes of depression and anxiety, so i quit right after deciding to bake for a living. I had to find videos that would guide me through my first baking experiments so i stumbled upon you and Joy of Baking's channel. You virtually held my hand through that very scary and dark time and for that i'll eternlly grateful; more on how i kept relying on your videos will come

Thank you 🙏🏼 Owning a business is never easy and I bought a broken down bakery & my passion was always being tested in that bakery, too many days i dreaded going there for fear of what I would walk into, , but my passion for baking was resparked when I started making UA-cam videos!!

So interesting Gretchen. All the times things came together and fell apart and came back together in very strange kismet type ways. Very wild. I don’t think I have the fortitude to go what you’ve gone through! At least not with a smile on my face and my sanity intact!
And as crazy as it all sounds, it sounds like you wouldn’t change a thing lol.
And also, I bet this is just scratching the SURFACE.

I’m not quite sure but I can say I have 10 years in the bakery and almost another 10 years after that brings me to today!!
