Wow. Your description describes me perfectly. The aspect I dislike about myself most is my language patterns, the cadence and my voice. It seems whiny yet with a bit of force. I verbally punctuate certain words to get get my point across. Lately, I’ve been trying to speak softer, slower and slightly deeper. In addition, its hard to hold my tongue. That gets me into pickles. Having direct and honest conversations isn’t always welcome. Many people don’t care for that. They prefer soft language that isn’t necessarily open and honest. Unfortunately, I do offend people 😢 sometimes.
My face hides nothing so I can’t lie and get away with it. Lying is uncomfortable and exhausting. I want to be softer and less direct so I’ve really been working on this aspect of myself. I need to softer. And more gentle.
Overall, I guess I don’t accept a whole lot of bull crap. And it ain’t easy 😂.
