CHRYSALIS | An Experimental Short Film

Chrysalis is a short trance film that dips between the worlds of dream and reality- blurring the lines between what is real and what is not, as our protagonist embarks on a journey of emotional metamorphosis. The film is personal to us and was truly a passion project. We hope it reaches out to you in the way it did to us!
We were very much inspired by the works of Wong Kar Wai and Andrei Tarkovsky, attempting to create our own version of a 'dreamscape' with the limited time and resources we had!
A Student film made possible by Queen's University of Belfast as part of the Film Studies and Production course. Made in March of 2024
