Hi. great Video. I purchased the Jbugs, and indeed the overear and sound quality are great for the price. The problems I am encountering are related to interaction with Conference call applications such as MS teams or bluejeans. there is no sync between the Mute button on the applications to the mute on the device. so you actually get into double muting from time to time. also, it is hard to tell on the headset if the mute is enabled or disabled, as the Red light is difficult to see from the tough angle. I would suggest for Jlab to add a verbal "Mute ON" " "MUTE OFF" message when pressing the button.
I completely agree! I love when headsets have a voice indication on if you're muted and it telling you you're muted when you try to talk by giving a ping or voice prompt.

I have to say, I used to be a JBL loyalist and that respectively Jlab took away. I will have to be patient.
I've be using JLabs for 4 years, the first one I've used was the wired earphones which I bought like 3 times cause I broke them by accident then I switched to the JLab Bluetooth Neon and had for a year (and still have it) till one side stopped working then the JLabs Bluetooth Studio Pro and have till this day for 2 years and that one hasn't broken on me even after dropping it a few times
They did start out as a pretty "cheap" company and it's why I didn't really care to review them for a while. I reviewed one headset and questioned if I should give them a chance. Can the JBUDS Headset allow you to voice record while you are using your phone camera? I saw a viewer comment on your GoWork Headset review that it will not voice record and will only use the phone microphone. I also make videos and use the phone camera sometimes and I need a good microphone. Very informative video, thank you!!!
Absolutely. I mean the only flaw is wearing it mono on the right ear only. But how I see it, it took about 3-4 hours before I got tired of it on mono mode. I think BlueParrott will always be the best for truck drivers.
It's hardware based so it mutes the microphone on the headset every time if that makes sense. So yes you can mute calls via Zoom if you disable the microphone but if you disable the microphone on the headset it mutes it altogether. Great question!

So my company provided me a set of Jabra Evolve 75 w/Link 370, they worked great for almost 2 years until my MIC went out. The one issue i had with them is the "on the ear design" killed my ears especially since i have glasses. Was looking into the Jabra Evolve2 85 but wow the price is crazy. Do you think these would be able to replace the call quality of the Jabra Evolve 75?
It works, usbc on the headset side connected to aux headset jack on the computer. In my sound settings it doesn't show the name of the headset on sound or mic settings, rather the name of the sound device, "Microsoft Realtek audio" or something like that. They state somewhere in the documentation that it won't work when connected to usb on computer as this is only for charging.

Can you see the red 'mute' indicator light when wearing the headset?

For me they're identical. Call experience wise I'd say it sounds more immersive with the Jbuds Work headset.

Interesting, I wear glasses too. I feel on the ear is much better, over the ear style is keep press the glass frame around the ear.
Do these work with softphones . Will the mute, answer and end call buttons work with Cisco Jabber.
It does work with softphones. I've only used Google Voice and CallRail at the time of review in my testing. Haven't used Cisco Jabber.
