Interesting point (shocking) Barb makes about the army not cooperating first year. That finally explains how sorry and embarrassing the berets looked on all the actors (with very minor exception). They even have Frank in a black beret (in his first deployment scene at the airfield) even though he's airborne and, as later in show, would wear a maroon beret. The berets after season one were totally squared away and I don't think I ever saw one that wasn't fitted to the wearer's head - even the secondary background players. Impressive.
Hubby was in the Army so as a wife of a soldier it’s definitely a lot and it’s nerve wrecking and now I’m gonna be the soldier it’s better life for my family and what career you utilize from it.
