It's sad that you think she actually cares what you want. She said that UA-cam kept them financially afloat when Tim unfortunately lost his job. Now that he has a job, she no longer needs UA-cam. This channel has always been about her. I truly enjoyed the Trader Joe's hauls, learned a lot, and thought the taste tests were so helpful and entertaining. But, of course, It's not about me, either. I love the cooking and recipe idea - food that you cook from scratch is so much healthier than any frozen, processed meals, even when they're yummy and seem to be healthy - they're really not that great for you, imho. I'm a vegetarian too and would love to discover some new things to cook. ❤

I live across the street from TJ''s and it's my regular store. That said, I 95 percent "shop the perimeter" because I eat very little processed food if any. I've enjoyed your videos even though I don't buy that stuff! I'm sure you will land on other interesting ideas! Cheers

I do love your TJ videos to give me a sense of what the new items really look and taste like. The items I really value from your videos are the TJ wines. I never really paid attention to the TJ special wines (diamond, platinum) prior to your videos. I also agree with others that suggested Whole Foods. I'm lucky to have a great Whole Foods near me. I found that not all Whole Foods are equal with full service meat, fish, bakery, and deli counters. What many don't realize is having a Prime membership and shopping Whole Foods sales are amazing discounts. Whole Foods has great sales. The sales get posted online every Wednesday. With Prime you get an additional discount. I've had a Whole Foods cashier say "did you realize everything you bought was on sale?" Umm, yeah! The organic, special dietary, and intriguing specialty items are great.

Staying home with a kiddo is absolutely full time work. Also, maybe that is not where she wants to put her energy. Katie shines in front of the camera. Personally, I have no idea how to edit a video. 😂 We all have different talents.
I watch videos done by women (not particularly privileged women) with 4-6 children, who multi-task as their way of life. Katie has 1-child, now in school and using that as an excuse seems, well… hope you get it.

Due to inflammatory disease and autoimmune problem, I eat very little processed food. I have loved watching the TJ hauls and as a non drinker I have learned so much about beers and wines from you and Tim. Helps when I want to give a gift to those that do entertain and enjoy an at home Happy Hour! I would say that you are so wise to feel the need for a change and then give yourself a chance to figure out what it is that you want to do. I will be there to watch and enjoy what ever you post. So glad to know that you all are okay and that your community is safe and that your school is still safe.

I discovered your videos during the darkest days of isolation and fear at the beginning of the pandemic and you were a bright light in dark times- from the west coast all the way to me on the east coast. I enjoy all of your content and hope you will continue your presence in some form. I have been a follower for a long time and as I watch these hauls and taste test every week, I feel like we’ve become friends. I will continue watching and support you because your priorities really do align with mine. I garden, compost, about to raise chicken and cook 99% of the meals for my family as well. I work outside the home so I listen to you in my drive in the mornings or in the afternoons home from work. I have two small babies and because you have a son, I can connect the things he likes to eat with having my children try them as well (my 4 year old loves cherry tomatoes for the longest time since he was 1 and I started growing it in the garden for him). So here to say, the hauls were great and I hope to continue to listen to you on my drives, friend ❤
Maybe try a vlog style, keep it causal and no editing. Truthfully, you are my TJ fix. I use to live in the Bay Area, LA, and San Diego and was use to going to TJ every week. We moved to Mendocino County, which is awesome, but no TJ! I have to drive to Santa Rosa (2 hours) for the nearest TJ.So, you are my weekly TJ fix and keep me connected!

Please know that I have been watching your hauls on Fridays for some time and using what you share to make my list for my weekly Trader Joe’s run. I’ll miss that. My sister and I both thought Tim nailed it as Beetlejuice for Halloween. I think taste tests of new recipes you’re trying might be fun. Maybe paired with a beer or wine tasting. (Cheers!) We are here for the Trader Joe’s hauls. If you are uncomfortable doing them, you should stop. Our support has, I believe, been good for you financially. I am unable to take trips, etc. but watched as the 3 of you enjoyed yours. That’s a good thing. But my thing is the hauls. There are still several other other good TJ hauls to watch and as for fashion, there are so very many amazing places to view! So, go for it, whatever it is and good luck.
Does anyone have any TJ channels they would recommend? I’m in Canada and use the haul/taste test videos to plan my shopping lists for my trips to the US!
Natasha's (Trader Joe's) List is enlightening and humorous. She actually tastes most items as she unpacks them, and she buys all of the new items. She's in LA but unaffected by the fires. I also see The Shopping Geek's video clips of new items almost daily, and she has some longer hauls too. She is in Orange County. Watching these hauls (including Katie's) leads me to sometimes know more about TJ's new products than some of the employees do. Just today I asked about the new watermelon crisps, which my store in San Diego can't order till mid-February even though Natasha bought them 125 miles north in LA.

I recently started cooking again myself and Trader Joe’s is really the only place I shop! I love this! I love Trader Joes, but rarely buy most of the stuff you taste test. I would love a healthier spin on your hauls and how about you show a recipe and taste test your new recipes? Then we can try the recipes. Also hauls from Sprouts, Whole Foods, Aldi still work into those healthy hauls. We are always looking for new spins on veggies, so some great salad recipes. Also I think it would be great to incorporate shampoos, hair products, and makeups with clean ingredients. Your family is so sweet, and I will watch no matter what.
Life is a journey, it’s not linear, but rocky sometimes, sometimes a pleasant one. Change is inevitable. Grow as you and your family grow. You started the process, the channel. a lot of influencers go to the stores and review the food without purchasing it. You can also go through their catalog that they put out every so often. You can compile best of videos that you have already done too. I am so happy that Tim found work, I was really praying for him and I am happy your family is safe.

Thanks for the update. Just post when there's something exciting to share. Maybe only do Trader Joe hauls/taste tests at the end of the year when there's more holiday treats to try. Or a beer/wine tasting once in a while. Since you also like gardening and cooking you can do a vlog (maybe series) and show us how you get your garden started in spring and things you want to plant. Once you harvest them show us how to use them in different recpies. Or share a recipe you're trying once in a while. Same with fashion and beauty. Do a little of everything. Without a niche to focus on it should feel more natural to figure out what to share. Good luck!

I think that you don’t have to just to TJs hauls. I think the whole food, no process food is a great idea. So many of us are trying to get away from processed foods and ideas are always welcome. With the state of food processing, being able to eat clean, fresh foods is important but, coming up with ideas on what to make and what items to buy can be daunting.

I watch videos done by women (not particularly privileged women) with 4-6 children, who multi-task as their way of life. Katie has 1-child, now in school and using that as an excuse seems, well… hope you get it.

I am happy to hear that you guys are safe, the Eaton fire was way too close to me ... still cleaning up. However, I will miss the TJ hauls, and especially the taste tests, not only for the info, but for how much fun you two seemed to be having with them. You've made me laugh more times than I can say.

Due to inflammatory disease and autoimmune problem, I eat very little processed food. I have loved watching the TJ hauls and as a non drinker I have learned so much about beers and wines from you and Tim. Helps when I want to give a gift to those that do entertain and enjoy an at home Happy Hour! I would say that you are so wise to feel the need for a change and then give yourself a chance to figure out what it is that you want to do. I will be there to watch and enjoy what ever you post. So glad to know that you all are okay and that your community is safe and that your school is still safe.

I discovered your videos during the darkest days of isolation and fear at the beginning of the pandemic and you were a bright light in dark times- from the west coast all the way to me on the east coast. I enjoy all of your content and hope you will continue your presence in some form. Like you I am striving to eat more whole and unprocessed food and would love to see your ideas- as well as your ideas on fashion since I am also a glittery girl. I have been a follower for a long time and as I watch these hauls and taste test every week, I feel like we’ve become friends. I will continue watching and support you because your priorities really do align with mine. I garden, compost, about to raise chicken and cook 99% of the meals for my family as well. I work outside the home so I listen to you in my drive in the mornings or in the afternoons home from work. I have two small babies and because you have a son, I can connect the things he likes to eat with having my children try them as well (my 4 year old loves cherry tomatoes for the longest time since he was 1 and I started growing it in the garden for him). So here to say, the hauls were great and I hope to continue to listen to you on my drives, friend ❤

Maybe try a vlog style, keep it causal and no editing. Truthfully, you are my TJ fix. I use to live in the Bay Area, LA, and San Diego and was use to going to TJ every week. We moved to Mendocino County, which is awesome, but no TJ! I have to drive to Santa Rosa (2 hours) for the nearest TJ.So, you are my weekly TJ fix and keep me connected!

Please know that I have been watching your hauls on Fridays for some time and using what you share to make my list for my weekly Trader Joe’s run. I’ll miss that. My sister and I both thought Tim nailed it as Beetlejuice for Halloween. I think taste tests of new recipes you’re trying might be fun. Maybe paired with a beer or wine tasting. (Cheers!) We are here for the Trader Joe’s hauls. If you are uncomfortable doing them, you should stop. Our support has, I believe, been good for you financially. I am unable to take trips, etc. but watched as the 3 of you enjoyed yours. That’s a good thing. But my thing is the hauls. There are still several other other good TJ hauls to watch and as for fashion, there are so very many amazing places to view! So, go for it, whatever it is and good luck.

Natasha's (Trader Joe's) List is enlightening and humorous. She actually tastes most items as she unpacks them, and she buys all of the new items. She's in LA but unaffected by the fires. I also see The Shopping Geek's video clips of new items almost daily, and she has some longer hauls too. She is in Orange County. Watching these hauls (including Katie's) leads me to sometimes know more about TJ's new products than some of the employees do. Just today I asked about the new watermelon crisps, which my store in San Diego can't order till mid-February even though Natasha bought them 125 miles north in LA.

Your Trader Joe’s hauls are wonderful for me as that’s where I normally shop and you’ve been very present in what I buy! I’d love the idea of you doing cooking and things like that. I recently started cooking again myself and Trader Joe’s is really the only place I shop! I love this! I love Trader Joes, but rarely buy most of the stuff you taste test. I would love a healthier spin on your hauls and how about you show a recipe and taste test your new recipes? Then we can try the recipes. Also hauls from Sprouts, Whole Foods, Aldi still work into those healthy hauls. We are always looking for new spins on veggies, so some great salad recipes. Also I think it would be great to incorporate shampoos, hair products, and makeups with clean ingredients. Your family is so sweet, and I will watch no matter what.
Life is a journey, it’s not linear, but rocky sometimes, sometimes a pleasant one. Change is inevitable. Grow as you and your family grow. You started the process, the channel. As you know, people will arrive and leave as they will. You do, you and share what is interesting for you and your family. The channel is a window into your journey for us, the viewers. a lot of influencers go to the stores and review the food without purchasing it. You can also go through their catalog that they put out every so often. You can compile best of videos that you have already done too. I am so happy that Tim found work, I was really praying for him and I am happy your family is safe.

Since you also like gardening and cooking you can do a vlog (maybe series) and show us how you get your garden started in spring and things you want to plant. Once you harvest them show us how to use them in different recpies. Or share a recipe you're trying once in a while. Same with fashion and beauty. Do a little of everything. Without a niche to focus on it should feel more natural to figure out what to share. Good luck!

I personally never watched any of your other hauls or videos since I’ve been mainly interested only in the Trader Joe items, so I might not continue to watch your channel. I think that you don’t have to just to TJs hauls. I think the whole food, no process food is a great idea. So many of us are trying to get away from processed foods and ideas are always welcome. With the state of food processing, being able to eat clean, fresh foods is important but, coming up with ideas on what to make and what items to buy can be daunting.
Katie- glad you guys are safe from the fires. I am in San Fernando valley. We were surrounded for 5 days and it was super scary. But now my family is fine and out of danger.
