What are the measurmentsof the house? Length of walls and their height?
Big mistake, if the siding doesn't lap over the slab you will get water running under the bottom of the wall, this will cause rot and mold.

If the wood is in contact with the concrete it will absorb it's humidity and would rot

Before putting the walls on concrete put a membrane underneat and fold it back on the wall. As for outside he could add a metal drip. Since it's on a slab there's not much to protect the wood siding beside treat it regularly, if it was higher the snow and the water wouldnt be in contact.

Metal flashing would do the same thing, AND it would keep water from running under the wall.
They will go right under it without any problem.

I have to tell you the boards around the windows are wrong ! The "overhang" must be on the horizontal board on top so as to prevent water/ snow creeping in the "joint". It's been like this for hundreds of years for a good reason. You can't just make stuff up as you go to be different...
Obviously, he can do as he pleases...and you can like it. Or not. 🤷

No insulation. What is the point?
A log house only needs the floor and under the roof insulated. The logs insulate the rest. If you notice he is putting up a barrier and we don't know the insulating properties of it. Maybe check out some further videos he has up. There is one where he shows insulation and mentions how good it is.

I built my chicken coop to match my log cabin this way, with siding hung on the wall frames. The house is 4x8 TG logs.

Why Frame with wood? So many Americans build this way. Make stone or block walls and dont leavs gaps in walls! Keep electrical and plumbing mounted to your walls. You would never have a rat problem because there would be NO WHERE for the rats to hide. I dont get framing. If your poor, i get it.
