Do we get to claim unrealized capital losses as well, adjusted for fed reserve inflation? Most homeowners already pay unrealized capital gains taxes through property taxes.
Sorry, but my own holdings, which consisted of a lot of XRP, XLM, HBAR and ADA did way, way better then your recommendations. It would look different if i hadn't missed OXO an INJ, but still i would have done better with ISO 20022 coins.
Brics nations also want to start their own currency because of the USA uses sanctions against them and the control they have because of the threats of being banned from using the swift system
So in 2009, where could you have bought btc regardless of how little it cost? Where? Mt. Gox? And were 'wallets' available in 2009 or did buyers have to store it on the same exchange?
In 2009, cyberpunk geeks were mining BTC on their laptops for fun. Nobody was buying it. The market was so small and BTC was worth so little that 100s of BTC were thrown away on old PCs. People didn't think $3 of bitcoin would ever be worth anything, let alone millions$. Keys to millions of BTC are gone forever in landfills.

I read an article when I was in NYC circa '09 '10 that explained BTC and said to just bring a USB to some address in Wall Street to complete a transaction. I've been telling myself I would have taken a flyer on $200 worth if I actually made the effort to take that short subway ride after work. Real talk might have been more like $100 since that wasn't much more than a steak meal at the time. 1000BTC would have been awesome for amassing multiple lifetimes of experiences. Hopefully many other versions of myself took that risk and are living it up now in their respective universes instead of watching Crypto Tips.
These developments encourage me to sell more BTC at the top of the cycle and try and buy in lower. If countries impose unrealised gains tax you may as well sell some on your own terms , buy back in at which point your unrealised gains will be lower. Obviously some BTC I will never sell. I can see UCG not being imposed on Blackrock, the tax will then force retail holders to sell into the hands of Blackrock in order to pay the tax
You need to study this. A 10 percent tarrif will do nothing but bring money into the USA to help pay off the debt. The cost won't be passed on to consumers.
Are you sure the US Government is selling that 10k Bitcoin moved to a new address? I think this is incorrect based on what I've seen people say about this move.
Could we see some 10 or 20X from our mid and low cap alt coins from this point on? that is the question. And the second question is are we expecting a dip of %30 or less in the upcoming days? and last question, is XRP a good buy these days?
