It's good to see the commercial side recognising the benefits of Solar PV. My only observation and worry is that it draws all the reputable installers in to that area due to the potential scale of financial rewards - (with its highlighted associated risks). Still not easy to find reputable local installers. An installer being MCS accredited contractor counts for very little in reality, - chocolate tea pot comes to mind. We bought our system from....I actually still find it difficult to say their name - First4solar!. As a customer you trust that the installer should knows their job and that the install was done to MCS standards. Only now have I found out I should have received an EIC and I can see that no part of the system has appropriate labels as seen on your videos. Equally, they failed to connect the panels in 2 strings as per their survey documents which screws me for half a day as we have shading from the neighbour. Just a few of the joys from an MCS installer...who not surprisingly is out of business....but not because of any proactive action by MCS. That said, loving your videos and seeing the quality of work you guys are producing.
Hey Josh here - I completely understand your thoughts, and I’ve yet to find away to reach people that want quality and willing to pay the cost. It’s a shame as well as one of the largest fixed costs is scaffold and to fix solar it usually has to go back up. When you have customers saying can you price match x and it’s a fox inverter we’ve got no chance
Great podcast, keep up the good work guys!
Thanks mate 💪

Hey, mark here. We have corrected 2 first 4 solar installs this year… both shockingly bad.
